The village is La Chapelle-Montbrandeix in the Haute Vienne and is surrounded by lakes and forest. The village has an excellent bar restaurant which is within walking distance. The closest town is Cussac which is approx 10 mins by car it has quite a few shops including supermarket chemist hairdressers doctors surgery and restaurants.
