If you are truly looking for luxury this place isn’t for you, but it’s fine for a decent place to sleep and it’s close to town. The beds are soft. The bedrooms do have ac that get the room decently cool. There are no blackout curtains, it’s full light by 6am in the main bedroom. There is a rooster that starts crowing at 3am and doesn’t stop until around 8. He’s very loud. The water pressure is awful, like it’s almost unusable a slight trickle out of sink and the shower makes it feel like you’ll never get enough to wash your hair from shampoo. The linens and towels are clean but stained. I didn’t like that people come in to clean without our knowledge or permission, that isn’t noted in the listing. A lot of things are broken or about to break like the shower holder, the main bedroom bathroom door hinge, the sliding glass door upstairs. JR was an incredibly friendly and hospitable host! He linked us up with activity vendors and gave us suggestions on where to go. He also went out of his way to ensure we had a comfortable, safe and enjoyable experience at moalboal. We can't bike so really appreciated him biking us around. Thank you so much for the fun and laughter we will be back to learn how to ride a bike from u!!🤣🤣 Room is great for the price and is conveniently located 10min walk away from panagsama beach :)

You can go to the sea through Ilsoño. Moalboal is the first priority of the sea, so you can enjoy the sea without having to go to Chilliba, and there is a swimming pool in the villa, so I played in the pool in the evening. Cats that come every day are another heart healing! It was a private house, so I was able to play music in the evening and talk about the day with my family. I was so happy during my stay at the villa. The space and people were so lovely.

Genevieve's place is amazing! Private but accessible and is really near the central district of Moalboal AND the beach. Area also has CCTV for extra security. Genevieve can also help you out with booking the different activities around Southern Cebu, and shes very knowledgable and familiar of the area. I swear this is already a one up given I dont speak their native tongue. The place itself is also comfortable, clean and very homey. Definitely will come back and book again. Place is your money's worth.
