great host, great location

Great apartment and very convenient walking distance to all amenities. Christele is very sweet. The parking is a bit expensive (approx 20eur/day) but the location is convenient. There is no air conditioning so as the weather heats up in the summer it might be uncomfortable to sleep. It was on the edge last week. Opening the windows is loud and welcome mosquitos. Everything else is good.

The apartment is equipped with all the necessary comforts, and even more, every detail is carefully thought out. The decoration, done with great taste, perfectly matches the photos. We had such a lovely stay, the place had so many little perks and was squeaky clean. We loved the terrace space and it seems so much thought was put into it (TV, fulled ice cube trays, extra throw blanket, etc). We already miss it! Thanks so much to our hosts.

Ideal location. We would definitely return. Lots of space and although it was super hot weather and there was no AC, the air circulated well and we were never uncomfortable. When one of the fans didn’t work, we communicated with the host and she immediately responded and replaced it.

We had a great time! The host was absolutely perfect: he picked us up at the train station, which made our life a lot easier. A big thank you also for letting us leave our luggage a little longer before leaving, it was really very convenient. The accommodation is very well located and allowed us to do everything on foot. Only small downside: the bedding could be a little more comfortable. But other than that, everything was really great! We highly recommend this place and this host. :)

Very nice stay in Alain's house. Quiet, in a small street with very little traffic but in the immediate vicinity of the village square (3 min walk). The house is as advertised, well-equipped, spacious and well-decorated. The small garden and its terrace are a real plus to enjoy the beautiful weather!

An excellent weekend spent in this beautiful accommodation. Matches the photos and descriptions, even beyond expectations, it seemed bigger than in the photos, very positive. Clean place where we felt at home: cozy, cocooning and warm. A beautiful exterior for breakfast and other meals outside. A big thank you to Audrey for her exchanges and availability. For our first stay in La Rochelle, we were greeted by a very pleasant and welcoming host. These tips allowed us to visit the region as well as the use of urban transport made available to us with a bus stop "if you can say so" at the foot of the house. everything was in accordance with the listing on the site, I recommend this very nice little accommodation to other users because we had a very good stay, thank you again to Eliane for her kindness. Great for an extended weekend. The environment was quiet, close to the university. I was able to enjoy the old port on foot. The apartment is impeccable, clean and there is everything you need (tea towels, towels, cleaning products, etc.) Parking is at the bottom of the building (note that it is paid!) The bed squeaks a lot but no worries for me! Thank you Arnaud.
