The home is a real gem. I loved that it was located in a very quiet neighborhood but within walking distance to several grocery stores and shopping centers. The unit is a detached garage that was reconverted but it was very clean and well maintained with a classy creative touch! Will definitely be coming back!

The place overall was a great stay. Small and convenient. The room was clean and just like the photos. Parking was included which is nice when LA charges $40 a night at hotels. The area doesn’t look safe but it is right next to a high school and it’s a suburban area. It is a quiet area but you are next to a highway so you hear the sirens and police but we didn’t mind it. I think the only thing is there wasn’t coffee to be made in the mornings but there is a coffee maker. If you need a place that’s cheap and convenient I would deff stay here again. We weren’t inside and most of the time exploring so that helped when it came to expenses. Manny is a great host and is very responsive. A small cute studio for a LA culture experience.

There’s definitely pros and cons to this place but overall had a pleasant stay. The house overall looked clean when we arrived. There are some minor cosmetic issues that make the house look/feel unfinished though. Beds were comfy and all the appliances worked. Like other reviews mentioned, there’s no dishwasher and the kitchen was lacking in cooking utensils so we had to buy our own. We messaged the host about the ice maker not working and they did not offer to fix it, they simply replied with “maybe it can’t make ice. I’m sorry”. We also had issues with one of the gas burner knobs and the water filter knob coming off. The washer and dryer worked great but they were extremely loud so we had to always close both doors that lead to where they are. The bedrooms have very thin walls and we could hear the people staying in the main house very clearl

We had a truly wonderful stay at Abbe’s home! The space was clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable—everything we could have hoped for in a relaxing getaway. The house is tucked into a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, offering both privacy and convenience. The saltwater pool and spa were a dream—large, pristine, and perfect for the warm weather. We spent hours enjoying the gorgeous backyard, especially the covered patio, which was ideal for outdoor meals and lounging. Our dog loved the space too—great yard and pet-friendly layout. Inside, the home was spotless and cozy. The beds were super comfortable with soft, inviting linens. The updated kitchen was a standout—fully stocked and perfect for cooking our own meals, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Abbe was a fantastic host—warm, communicative, and easy to reach. She checked in regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is also excellent—close to shopping & everything you could need.

Selina was a very responsive host with a nice little place. Very clean and no frills. Bonus points for the gated private parking spot. If you are looking for a place to stay, with all the essentials and at a fair price, I would highly recommend.

What a wonderful place to stay! Nearby to many restaurants, stores, and bars. The parking was easy to get into and the unit was great! Massive kitchen with everything you could need. The street the unit is on is lined with purple trees and it was so stunning. The host was incredibly accommodating by letting us check in very early and gave us the codes right away for everything. Couldn't recommend this place more!!

I had a great stay! The apartment itself is beautiful and spacious, with a large balcony and two bathrooms—perfect for relaxing and feeling at home. The location is fantastic, in a safe neighborhood with plenty of great restaurants just a short walk away. Having access to a parking garage was a huge plus—finding parking in LA can be tough, but this made it super easy. The host was very responsive, understanding, and genuinely nice and cool. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
