Our quaint house sleeps 6, with the option of 2 king single beds in our upstairs loft or a Super King sized bed options. Please advise for your stay. Ducted heating and cooling for all seasons. Our home is a 5 minute walk to our main shopping area and a quick stroll to the Tumut Brewery for their boutique beers and a bite to eat.

Rose End House has bean divided into 2 apartments. It is the front apartment that will be your home away from home. The lounge room has three long windows facing the private front garden, BBQ, outdoor setting and a lovely shady tree. It has two comfortable lounges facing each other which makes for easy conversation or a movie night. A television doubles as beautiful art. I am ideally located at the northern end of the Snowy Mountains to explore and enjoy all the region has to offer. Our immediate surrounds offer fantastic views, great bird watching and fishing. We are able to accommodate 2 adults and a small child under 2 years of age only. If your child is older then 2 please contact us first as we have a portacot only.

this hidden paradise is located in town but... a spacious lawn and a beautiful creek gives an outdoorsy feel to the property. The Tumut river which is only walking distance away is great for fishing, but if your not into fishing you could enjoy a lovely walk along the river. Another bonus of this property is that being located in town means most shops are just a walk away. So with all the benefits it's hard to resist this getaway.

The location was beautiful. We wished we could have stayed longer. Anyone with mobility issues (I have a bad knee) be aware of 2 steps from lounge to hall and kitchen when constantly moving around the lovely large home. The super comfortable king bed was divine after a long day of travel.

Our stay at Dorothy’s Butterfly cottage was so relaxing, peaceful and cosy, the Beds were so comfortable and made perfectly for the winter weather, very toasty. We had a wonderful getaway in Tumut we were in a walkable distance to the Main Street, local pubs, restaurants and shops. The surrounding walks by the river and to the lookout were very beautiful in winter. Even better we could bring our dogs along to enjoy our family time. We made some beautiful family memories here and would book again in a heart beat

Both hosts were incredibly warm, genuine, and friendly! We arrived quite late, but they still came to welcome us with their adorable dog. They even prepared some milk for us and gave us a detailed introduction to the house. The cottage felt like a peaceful retreat from the world—beautiful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. The stars at night were stunning, and in the morning, we woke up to the sight of little birds outside the window. Although it rained during our stay, it didn’t affect our joy and appreciation for this lovely place. We hope to come back again on a sunny day, and hopefully see these kind and wonderful hosts once more!
