G&R’s Holcombe Escape is meant for adventure and relaxation! This area offers many outdoor activities year-round, so bring your toys and get ready for a vacation to remember. This is the ideal home base for family and friends. A large house to relax and enjoy quality time after a day out on the lake, UTV trails, snowmobile trails, or cross-country skiing trails. There is space to park your boat, snowmobiles, or UTV on property, making a quick hop over to the lake or the trails located nearby.

The Timberjack

Although it's a rustic homage to the lumberjacks and jills of yesteryear, this cabin includes many of the comforts we now enjoy including a queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, hot water, AC/heat, a Keurig coffeemaker, smart TV and charcoal grill. The Timberjack is surrounded by trees right on Lake Hayward and close to downtown Hayward. Launch your canoe just steps from the cabin, walk into town for lunch, or go hiking or skiing on the nearby trails, this cabin is nestled in the ideal location!

Oak Hill Retreat

Country location, peaceful and quiet. Apartment above detached garage, full kitchen, small deck and private stairway with beautiful view of the surrounding trees. Easily accessible, 3 miles from I-94 and St. Hwy. 29, 1/2 way between the university cities of Eau Claire and Menomonie, 1 1/4 hours from St. Paul/Minneapolis. There is a growing art and music scene, with multiple music festivals, etc. The area also has fine restaurants, theaters, parks, and historical sites. Come to be restored.

Flaming Torch Lodge

This is a quaint little cabin on the Flambeau River just outside of Ladysmith, WI (flambeau translastes to flaming torch) It is a clean space with rustic charm. It has a fully equipped kitchen, stove and fridge. A gas fireplace is the centerpiece of the living room. Snuggle up on the sofa or recliner, turn on the fireplace, and relax. There is one bedroom with a memory foam mattress. A loft with a sleeper couch. Free amenities, including cleaning. No pets and no smoking at any time please.

Close to ATV trails with Country store & bar/food about 1 mile. Near Lake Holcombe, & surrounding areas. The Eagle's nest is an adjacent unit (sleeps 6). Only 10 minutes and a world away from Hayward, the stylishly appointed SUNROOM SUITE is part of Loon Lake Guesthouse. Take in the view of gardens, tall pines and glimmering Loon Lake through windows and skylights that overlook this picturesque setting. This is a spacious, beautiful home away from home! We are located about a 1/4 mile away from gorgeous Lake Holcombe. Nestled away behind the pines :) The area offers plenty of out door activities, year round. Take a walk on the quiet, peaceful lakeshore, or jump on the trails just down the road for some OTR fun. There is also the well known ice age hiking trail close by. We do offer maps located on your welcome stand to help you navigate our great community.

Cabin 2 - Northwoods themed 1 BR, lakefront cabin.

Relax in this cozy lakefront cabin. This north woods themed cabin is perfect for a couple looking for a weekend or week-long getaway. The cabin includes a fully stocked kitchen, a 3/4 bathroom and a separate living area. Relax outside on the attached, covered deck or walk 30 feet to your own dock. Bring your boat and enjoy all that the Chetek Chain of Lakes has to offer. Or rent one of our pontoons by the hour or by the day.

Granny's Nest

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Grandma's cozy apartment is a private, quiet country space. A home away from home to relax or work. Or if you'd rather be out and about we have a lovely little park beside Main Creek where you can grill and enjoy nature. It's accessible either by foot or vehicle. Located between Lake Holcombe and Flambeau Flowage. We have plenty of convenient parking space.
