Casa Marroquí at Lake Atitlán

Casa Marroquí (formerly known as Muzzen Muzzef) was designed by our parents after their trip to Morocco in the 70s. Its arches, domes and stained glass details are some of the enchanting architectural features they so admired and wanted to bring home with them. This unique property meets the shores of Lake Atitlán, which is one of the most wonderful lakes in the world. Its cobalt blue waters and the three volcanoes surrounding it make the view from the house a breathtaking experience.

In the space, you will have a large patio to spend time outdoors enjoying a spectacular view. You'll be close to restaurants, bars, tourist spots, and Spanish schools. Villa Eggedal is situated on the North shore of Lake Atitlan in the peaceful village of Santa Cruz. Ten acres of beautifully manicured gardens with pool overlook the lake and its surrounding volcanoes. The gardens make this a bird-watcher's paradise. There are 7 properties on this amble estate. The views are amazing but it does involve walking up numerous steps. If you are arriving after dark, please make sure to bring a torch with you. Only arrive by boat and not by car.
