Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Barkley

This is the second house we have rented from Jill. I was very impressed with the last house so this one was a no brainer. The house is adorable! Very clean and well decorated. Enough room for my family to be comfortable. We loved sitting outside in the screened in patio! My granddaughter was thrilled with the little bed upstairs and all of the toys! It was perfect for us and very close to our family in Mayfield. Will definitely be back!

We had a great weekend at Black Eagle Retreat. The place itself was so impressively constructed and staged for relaxation. We appreciated the comfy beds and furniture, well stocked kitchen and great shower! We loved both porches depending on where the sun was shining. The hot tub was great!! The best was being at the level of birds as they flew nearby with a great view as a backdrop.

Peaceful Cabin Retreat – Perfect for Groups! We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cabin in the Cumberland Furnace woods! It was super peaceful, with plenty of space inside and out. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. The hot tub was a huge hit after a day of exploring, and we loved hanging out around the fire pit each night. With room for 8, it was the perfect getaway for our group — plenty of privacy on about 4 acres, yet still easy to get to. Everything was just as described (or better), and the hosts were great. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great, family friendly place to stay! I think this is the cleanest property that we’ve stayed at! Very responsive and kind hosts! We really liked the central room to hang out in with bedrooms off the main area. Overall great experience!

We had a very relaxing weekend. The expansive deck was lovely for sitting and reading. The private dock was excellent for us to go fishing at all times of the day. The home itself is beautiful, with charming architecture and touches, and wonderfully furnished. Plenty of space inside and out, with everything we needed and more.

"The Spot" was perfect for our stay. The surroundings were so beautiful and peaceful. Upon arrival, my daughter spotted a deer nestled down in the wooded area just a few feet from the driveway. If you love nature, like I do, then you would definitely enjoy this location. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and stocked very well. The host...Khaled & Doreen, are awesome. They were very accommodating for our needs, and always quick to respond anytime I had a question. If you're looking for a nice "spot", this is it, in my opinion.

I normally don’t stay at Airbnb’s, being a camper, but I was pleasantly surprised. Dawn is a great host and I would recommend her Place to anyone.

I was well satisfied with the experience we had during our visit and will use this Location again when I need a place to bring a friend or family member thanks again. Miss Betty was great and easy to talk to. I guess the only little bit of frustration was trying to find the driveway in. I think the instructions need to be a little more clear. " Take the first road to your Right after you enter the gate" for example. All in highly recomend. Go Betty!!

Very nice location. You can walk down to the water and enjoy the marina. The location is very private. I very much enjoyed my stay.

Laura's place was exactly what we needed for a fishing week. Her parents were nearby and were extremely helpful. We enjoyed visiting with them when our paths would cross. We would definitely stay at their location again in the future.

This condo exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and had everything we needed plus more. You can’t beat the location and view. Beds were very comfortable. Loved having access to the garage, most condos we’ve stayed in keep the garage locked. Made unloading so much easier and gave us a place to sit outside without being in the sun. Mason was a great host and made us feel at home the moment we walked in. We absolutely will stay here again!!

Always pleasure to stay at Suzan’s place. Quaint and quiet but not far from town. The space is always clean and well stocked and the bed is super comfortable. I will be back.

I was surprised at just how big the space actually was. For an upstairs unit, it felt like a whole house. The hot tub was AMAZING! You can hear noises and people around you pretty easily, but it didn’t bother us at all. We enjoyed the stay 💕💕

Property was very clean and just perfect for our group of 10. Close to the lake (short drive away) and plenty of relaxing outdoor space for grilling, hanging out and enjoying time with family and friends.

We wanted something quite and cozy for a little couple getaway and this was perfect.

It was perfect!! We may become regulars as my family would like to do some fishing next time they visit. I really loved that the Airbnb had a wheelchair elevator for my disabled parents to be able to join us downstairs. ++

This is a beautiful place!! When you walk in, you say Wow!!! Very peaceful and private, with many places to walk or sit outside and enjoy the countryside. Front porch, back large deck, firepit complete with smores, or at the end of your own large dock out in the pond/lake outside your front door!!! The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well!! Would strongly recommend staying here! Thank you!

We have stayed here a few time now and love this place. We will always stay here when we come to area. It is well worth the money and is very, very clean and feels like home. We always hate to leave.

We had five family units consisting of children and grandchildren. It was a wonderful place for the family get together. Fishing and Kayaking was a good time. Everything you could possibly need was available, especially a fully stocked kitchen. Lots of wildlife to highlight the beautiful environment surrounding the home. The main hostess, Amanda, was extremely responsive and personable. Great long weekend.

Our group has stayed at Jim’s place for four years now. Jim is always hospitable, the lodge is always very clean, and has all the listed amenities. The beautiful surroundings make our weekend very special, quaint, and relaxing. We are able to cook efficiently. We are hopeful to be back next year.

Nice and spacious cabin. All of the bedrooms were nice sized and outfitted with comfortable beds. The kids loved the available games and puzzles as well as the chance to learn how to play pool. The movie room was their favorite part by far, and the available videos had something for everyone. The hot tub was a really nice way to unwind after our visits to the Land Between the Lakes National Forest. We would recommend that to anyone looking for something to do in the area.
