Metra can get you downtown Chicago in less than 45 min. and the stop is within walking distance.

The Volo Bog 800ft away. No hot tub Nov - May. Swimming pool, June-October often cool to use in early June.

Other local places include Northwestern University, Lake Forest, Winnetka, and Lake County. I have a cat living here, but he will accompany me when I leave.
