You've got easy access to the fells directly from the property, and there are also several good west-coast beaches within ten minutes' drive. There's a heritage steam railway line that runs near the farm, and there are several popular visitor attractions within easy reach such as Muncaster Castle, Beacon Museum and The Rum Story.

Our attached home Annexe (small bungalow) was built to a high standard four years ago (2016) and is located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac located about 20 minutes walk from Kendal centre along the old canal cycle way. The facility comprises:-OWN ENTRANCE , lounge/kitchenette,shower room, double bedroom , dressing 2nd bedroom , off road adjacent parking , dedicated private outdoor space and a secure area for cycles. We are ideally suited for trips to the Lakes, Morecambe Bay and the Dales.

The Old Tannery

A traditional sandstone barn conversion, with a sheltered garden in the beautiful village of Temple Sowerby. Located in the Eden Valley you will be well placed for trips to the Lakes or the Dales. In the village there is a local pub offering 'Day Fishing Licences' on the local river, a church and 'The House at Temple Sowerby' if you prefer some 'Fine Dining'. A short beautiful walk will bring you to 'Acorn Bank' National Trust House, with spectacular walks along the river and a tea room.

Swallow cottage is located at the junction between the Lakes and Dales, close to the village of Over Kellet. Ideal base for visiting picturesque Kendal and historical Lancaster. The bungalow is set within its own private garden and has off road parking . The accommodation consists of a spacious lounge / dining room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with rain head shower, toilet and basin. One spacious bedroom and a beautiful patio area overlooking a fishing pond. Well behaved dogs allowed.

It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Ideally situated for miles upon miles of the most scenic country walking. 2 minutes drive from Todmorden centre, 10 minutes from Hebden Bridge centre, 45 minutes from Manchester City Centre or 1 hour from Leeds. Located on a main train and bus route you can get to us from any direction! We have a bus stop 50 metres away and the train station is a 12 minute walk.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!
