We had such a lovely stay – the place was warm and cosy, perfect for a relaxing family retreat. It’s in a quiet bush setting but still super convenient, just a 10-minute drive to Merewether Beach and Hickson Street Lookout. We loved taking our dogs for walks along Merewether Beach and even found a great dog-friendly café nearby – the perfect spot for an early brekkie and sunrise. The lookout was stunning at sunset, though dogs aren’t allowed there, so we left ours in the car for a short while. The cottage has a big wooden table out on the deck, and we really enjoyed having lunch there, listening to the frogs singing while the dogs explored the garden. Such great value for a pet-friendly getaway. Thanks so much, Stewart!

Super giving with their amenities. The kitchen is stocked with all sorts of things, and they provide ground coffee, with an excellent coffee machine too. There's a great selection of beverages - teas, coffees, milks, coconut water! Everything is above and beyond about the kitchen. The view is stunning, you can see Bungan waters from your room, and the sun shines really beautifully in the morning, right to the bed. Roy & Leslie also put instructions for just about everything, and they really do have everything. Spare blankets, beach towels, towels, a heater, two different fans, lamps abound. The walk is 10-15 minutes to Bungan & Newport beach. Both beautiful, with nice shops around. Roy & Leslie also provide good food recs for the area. Truly, a great place to stay and very private. They go above and beyond, and they also have a very cute cat who you'll be lucky to stumble across.

We have stayed with Genie often while visiting family nearby. We enjoying catching the bus at the end of the street and making our way to the station to catch the train to the city. There are parks and walks nearby, and we regularly walk to a cafe in Asquith for coffee. Genie's place is roomy and private, with everything we need for our stay. We particularly appreciate the washing machine and drying space.

Extremely good stay with Vivienne at this flat. Excellent location; small but cosy flat exactly as described. Very good value. Vivienne provided very clear instructions around check in, parking and check out. Also gets a plus for being let-friendly, although we didn’t travel with pets this time.

stayed over Easter, was a great stay, very comfortable and had everything you needed, and extra that we didn't even though of ourselves. close to shops where you can get everything else. walkable to 3 different cellar doors and only 15 minutes drive to Pokolbin. would definitely stay again when I head up to Hunter valley.

Brooke’s place was perfect for a girls long weekend away. It had everything we needed and was perfectly clean and tidy. Easy code access and very secure property. Brooke was fantastic to communicate with, she was very kind and thoughtful and provided everything we needed. Thank you Brooke!

Loved the uninhibited view across the water/harbour and the domain in front of the property. Lovely and private. We were a bit early but Sandra was so accommodating and pleasant. The bed was super comfortable. We didn't use any of the food she had there for us but we really did appreciate the beautiful gesture - made us feel very much at home. Thank you Sandra! We loved staying there.

Sue has gone above and beyond to make Studio 11 comfortable, clean as a whistle, and homely - it has absolutely everything you need for a relaxing stay. Studio 11 is in a great location - very peaceful yet not far from Terrigal and Erina. The bed was extremely comfortable! Parking is right outside your door, and it also has a fully equipped kitchen. The water pressure in the shower was amazing too. Sue is so lovely and warmly welcomed us. She also communicated very well leading up to and during our stay. We definitely recommend Studio 11 for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Absolutely stunning home - we loved our stay! Seamless check-in with clear instructions, wonderful communication, and incredible amenities (the personalised welcome note and snacks/brekkie items were so lovely). It felt truly like a luxury stay in a gorgeous location near the beach and hiking trails - a true dream. We REALLY loved the comfy bed and gorgeous furnishing! Highly recommend to anyone for a wonderful time away ❤️

Kate included some nice touches in her place, like snacks and breakfast provisions, and Hornsby had all that we needed before heading out into the hinterland north of town

I had a delightful overnight stay at Yvette’s whilst attending a conference and wished I’d have had longer! Gorgeous property and Yvette is lovely. The two rooms were terrific for me and my work colleague. I chose to sleep in the single bed closest to the front window, so there was a little traffic noise, but that was the only downside. Breakfast was delicious and all we needed. Thanks Yvette - I’ll definitely come again!

We had a fantastic stay! The 'Vue' certainly lived up to its name with an amazing view that we thoroughly enjoyed, even though the weather was a bit too chilly for the pool. The property was exactly as described, clean, and well-equipped, proving to be the perfect spot for our family's quick getaway. For an unforgettable dining experience, I highly recommend the Cowrie Restaurant which is conveniently located just a short walk away. We would absolutely recommend this place to others!

extremely beautiful location and great location 👌 we ended up extending our stay fmto travel blue mountains instead of reserving place near by blue mountains! 1.5hr drive is worth the price to stay at this location extremely blissful and very generous and great host and great place😘😍

Is this the best Airbnb in Australia? Quite possibly - Pam and Kevin are excellent hosts, the apartment is clean, comfortable and private with plenty of space, and perfectly located for the beach, and a short taxi ride from all of town. Plus the posh-restaurant-quality homemade breakfasts are worth staying for all on their own!

We had a lovely stay. The studio is very comfortable, clean, private and has everything you need. It was also reassuring to know our dog was safe in the yard so we could relax in the heavenly spa. Several unexpected extras gave our visit a special touch. Highly recommended.

Had such a great stay at Ocean Gem! The apartment was lovely, clean and had everything you need. Loved the extra touch of a bottle of bubbles and chocolate! Deb was very responsive and such a lovely host. Location was amazing, the view from the balcony 10/10 and you can easily walk everywhere. I would highly recommend and will definately return.

Christie’s place was better than the photos. It was soooo comfy and so well stocked. Organic eggs, love bread butter and juice for breakfast. Tv set up so good 😊 warm cosy extra blankets and extra everything. It felt like you were guests not AirbandB. Cute chooks visiting us daily. Great garden 🪴 all up excellent.
