Cottage holiday rentals in Lake Michigan

Very nice house on a beautiful lake Odessa. Look exactly like the pictures. Very peaceful place. Kids love it by the water and was able to fish all day. Would definitely consider going back.

The Oriole feels like you’re sitting in a treehouse on the porch. Lovely! The interior is quaint and clean. Thoughtfully appointed space with a place to hang a few items of clothing and a suitcase rack, but otherwise don’t bring unnecessary luggage because, as described, the space is small. The location is walkable to all restaurants and shops. We enjoyed exploring a bit on the bikes which are great amenities along with the hot tub included in the stay. Would definitely recommend!

Super comfortable, nice place to stay, we had to leave early for an emergency and Jerry was super understanding about it. He is a great host and the house is adorable!

The hostess w the mostest! Carrie thought of all the little things a guest might need. The home had detailed instructions for anything we could think of, and she left wonderful local recommendations in the binder - which we took advantage of! The hot tub was super easy to use and we were even left a s’mores kit to enjoy in the back yard fire pit!

We had a great time staying at Amy's place! It is the perfect size for a couple. It feels very cozy and like you are actually staying at someone's home vs. the sterile Airbnbs that are owned by corporate entities these days. The property is as described. It is very private, yet close to everything! I would recommend staying here if you're in the area.

Anna was a great host! Very responsive and reached out to see if we needed anything. Her cottage is super clean, cozy, and the tranquility of the location can’t be beat. We shall return!

A hidden gem of a cabin within a really short walk to the beach! We loved staying so close to the water, even if the weather wasn’t quite warm enough for sunbathing, it was still so nice just to walk out there. We also loved how close it was to downtown Pentwater, just a four minute drive. The perfect combination of private, peaceful woods with the convenience of a short drive to dinner/ice cream. :) The place itself is well-maintained as well, and although it is a hike of a staircase from the car, it’s worth it. We liked how there were gates on the deck so we could hang out with our dog without worry. The tap water was sulfur-y and iron-y, but that’s to be expected with a cabin in the woods, and Rob provided bottled water which was perfect to kick off our trip. Thank you for a great getaway!!

We originally booked a different cottage in Ludington….only to find out we accidentally booked it for the wrong date. We cancelled that reservation and booked this location instead. Host responded immediately- huge relief to us since we were already on our way to the area. Directions to the house were spot on, which made it easy to find. Even though this was a last minute reservation, the house was ready for us. Yes, the furniture is dated but that was fine with us. There is so much to do in the area that we were gone most of the time. However, we did spend some time at the house to do some fishing out on the lake- they have a boat and canoe onsite that we were able to take out. Our last night there, we sat out by the fire pit and stargazed while we fished. It was perfect! Communication with host couldn’t have been any better. They checked in with us to make sure all was going well and responded right away when I accidentally locked ourselves out of the house. Would stay again.

It was a great weekend away! The cabin is so nice inside and out! I will definitley keep this place in mind if we ever do something like this again. Totally recommend:)

**Review of Our Stay at Teresa's AirB&B** If I could rate this place a 10, I absolutely would! From the moment we booked Teresa's AirB&B, my expectations were exceeded. I anticipated a simple house, but what we found was a fully stocked home that made us feel truly welcomed—perhaps I even overpacked! The cleanliness of the property was impressive; it looked exactly as depicted in the photos. We enjoyed a variety of activities, including kayaking and cozy bonfires in the backyard, which added to our memorable experience. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the proximity to the lake, just a few minutes away, made our stay even more enjoyable. We even drove up to Leland Mi “fish town” Overall, My 35th birthday was awesome! we had an amazing time and are already planning our return. Thank you, Teresa, for providing such a wonderful getaway! 😊

We really enjoyed our stay at John’s place. House was super clean and comfortable. Loved the outside porch set up as well as ability to dine outside in bark yard. We always enjoy this area as the hiking for our dog is amazing.

Loved our stay here. Quiet, beautiful views, but only 15 minutes away from restaurants and other things to do. Comfortable for our family and small dog. The back sun room was our favorite place and the upstairs nook was our hangout spot every evening. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway that's not too far from everything.

By far our favorite Airbnb, cozy furniture and beds, swimming spot is so much fun. This is our third time staying and we just love it. Thank you for always being a great host! See you next yr

This was our 3rd time staying at the cottage and it’s just a comfortable place!

This lakeside cabin is an idyllic vacation getaway for couples. It took some trial and error to able to use the listed appliances, but we managed to find a proper routine for using them. The hammock is set up in the perfect place under the trees. The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous. And, best of all, bubble wands. (Probably more intended for family use, but blowing bubbles is the ultimate way to relax.) 10 out of 10. Would booked again. P.S., If you drink coffee, you might wanna get some extra sugar to be safe. If Irina is provide extra sugar, then please disregard this postscript.

Beautiful place with great views. Lake Michigan views makes it look like you’re waking up in the gulf or even on the ocean. Great space with everything you need! This Airbnb had better views than most of the downtown attractions! Great host! Super helpful and always responsive. We will be back!

Perfect private cabin in the woods. It is far enough from downtown Saugatuck to avoid traffic but close enough that we could easily run back to relieve the dog when needed. About 7 minutes from downtown Saugatuck. There were so many amenities we didn't get to use (ran out of time), but were super nice to see like the fire pit and the sauna. It is super private and very well hidden. Maybe too well hidden. My only gripe regarding our stay was the initial finding of the driveway LOL. It looks more like a trail and it is RIGHT after the guardrail nearby. But hey, you can guarantee no one will stumble upon your private stay. The interior of this studio cabin was gorgeous and super clean. Overall, we ran out of time to explore all of Saugatuck and we will definitely be using this place again the next time we visit.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lily Pad Cottage. The surroundings were peacefull and serene. We enjoyed the beauty of nature everyday. We saw Orioles & hummingbirds, bunnies, a mama deer with her fawn, a snake, frogs, a loon on the lake. We fished, we kayaked. We enjoyed the beauty of Bass Lake. The cottage was very cozy. We especially enjoyed the sun porch and its beautiful views. Patti has a great response time. We had one small issue and it was fixed within an hour.

This was a halfway meeting of four cousins. We found the house very clean and the mattresses very comfortable. Close to restaurants, the downtown area and sites to see.

Leah's place was wonderful. The setting is very quiet and serene, and feels like there's no one else around for miles, but it's also only a short walk to the middle of Glen Arbor, so you have the best of both worlds. The home is clean and modern, and has everything you need. Leah was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was perfect for my daughter and myself visiting The Shrine of Our Lady of Champion (it was only 10 minutes away!). The location was also great as it was not too far from Green Bay in one direction and not too far from other towns we visited in the other direction. We appreciated how clean the cottage was, and we were very impressed with all the small touches inside that made it very comfortable (things like coffee, zip-loc bags, and even a s'mores kit!). We had one question for Zach during our stay, and he responded within minutes, which was awesome. There were a few restaurants right down the road, and we enjoyed them all (highly recommend Sweet Seasons Cafe, and the bowling alley pizza was delicious). Overall, it was everything we needed at a very reasonable price. Thanks, Zach!

this was our second stay and every single time it exceeds expectations. perfect for family and so peaceful. we feel so blessed and hope to continue the tradition.
