Cottage holiday rentals in Lake of the Woods

Lovely place. The directions from the host are very helpful-our GPS alone got us close but not quite there. One quick warning-the bathroom doors are sliding barn style doors and don’t lock. This is absolutely fine if you’re with other adults-they stay closed if you leave them alone-but a child, or in our case, a small dog with separation anxiety, can leave you with some unexpected exposure that could be a little awkward. I was very glad we were meeting family, not staying with them. That aside, the cottage was lovely. It has a small fenced area that was awesome to let us and the beasties hang out off leash.

This property is breathtaking. The sunsets over the vineyard is incredible. Agnieszka in the winery is wonderful. The cottage we stayed in was updated and clean. The host was flexible and everyone on property was welcoming and knowledgeable. We stumbled upon a member dinner and it was magical. The beds were comfortable we had great water pressure! Would highly recommend. Will absolutely visit again.

Pro's: Our family stayed at this location for a week. It was very comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful and the amenities were very nice. Suggestions: The walkway steps outside could be better lit. The lights on them are very dim. I missed a step one night in the dark and nearly fell. The kitchen could be better stocked with dishes. We cooked most of our meals in house and were surprised at how minimally the kitchen was stocked.

John hosts a beautiful home right in the middle of downtown Klamath Falls. The house was gorgeous, spacious, and everything we were looking for. John was very responsive whenever I reached out and was always happy to accommodate our stay in anyway he could. The house is historic, but very well kept and full of life. My family and I loved our stay and will definitely be reaching out again in the future.

This is a great location if you want to be right near downtown Ashland! It is easy to walk to Lithia Park, restaurants, groceries, shops, etc. Very quaint, rustic and relaxing, right next to Ashland Creek and fun little art galleries. We would definitely stay here again.

From watching the sun rise with my coffee in the morning to watching the sun set with a glass of wine in the evening, Mary's cottage was a peaceful country getaway! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

My husband and I stayed here for a month to explore Ashland because we plan to move there and wanted to make sure it was a good fit! We loved Ashland, so much live music, nice people, nature to hike! This airbnb was perfect while we explored! We could walk down to the plaza and coffeeshops, restaurants all within walking distance. The space had everything we needed for an extended stay! I would definitely recommend!

what a beautiful location. river view was beautiful, river access is a little tough, but managed. Steve and Jayne are super friendly and although they live above, we really never heard them. It was a great stop for our mini Vaca and would love to revisit.

A tranquil setting, magnificent surroundings, beautiful house, and Elizabeth and Richard are particularly gracious hosts: what more can I say? My daughter and son appreciated easy access to Mt Ashland Ski Area only 15 miles away. Can’t wait to come back again. Pierre

Gg's space is a slice of heaven! Private, quiet, clean and easy to find. I totally enjoyed my stay. I was lucky enough to meet Gg and her sweet doggies for a chat, she gave me great recommendations on all the things local. I will stay there again when passing through. Thank you Gg for being a wonderful host!

Such a peaceful, beautiful location with a sunrise view. I felt like I was staying on the edge of a private park. I stretched my legs walking the growing sunflower fields, biked into Talent for delicious food, and had quiet space to relax and recharge. The cottage is more spacious than I expected and has excellent natural light. Hosts were kind and thoughtful, making it easy for me when I arrived after dark and later than I expected. There were fresh eggs and goodies in the fridge & pantry. I will stay again. Easy drive to Medford - check out the new RogueX community center with 13 lane pool! Easy drive to Ashland - food & theater! Winding drive up to Applegate Lake - swimming in clear water!

I had a wonderful time at the carriage house. Margaret has put a lot of attention into the details to make this a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. I could happily live there. Our hosts were delightful, accessible, and made us feel quite welcome. It was great to be at a location where we could park our car and walk to restaurants, Lithia Park, and the OSF. The garden was a treat and a delightful place to relax. I hope to be lucky enough to book it on my next visit to Ashland!

This was a wonderful Airbnb vacation with great hosts and a beautiful cottage in an idyllic location. I particularly appreciated the thoughtfulness of having the cottage unlocked and heated on arrival because by that time I'd been awake for over 24 hours and just wanted to get inside and relax.

Cindy is very responsive and accommodating! I had a third person and Cindy set up the roll out futon for her when she normally has the futon in a cover, and had a dog bed and treats for my dog. The place is small and cozy, which is perfect for us since we came to hike Crater Lake! The yard is really wide for our dog, and even though the fence was open due to the construction, Cindy had an extended leash and stake for the dog to be wander the area if we still wanted. The fridge was stocked with water and little oatmeals and popcorns for having in-house fun and the spa was great for after the hike.

Had a great stay at Terri’s place. Peaceful, beautiful surroundings & a short trip to Crater Lake. Beautiful interior with retro-themed appliances & a fun comfortable space. Would stay here again!

I loved this little cottage. I plan on staying again for a series of doctor appointments. The kitty & I connected right off. It might be because I shared my chicken dinner with her. 😆 My favorite part was sleeping in the bed adorned with a canopy of twinkling lights.

Place is super clean, spacious and functional. View delivers. Traffic from the highway was a little of our concern but it turned out to be alright. You can still hear it in the living room but the bedroom is quiet. We're very happy to have stayed here.
