Holiday rentals with beach access in Lake Päijänne

I loved the place! So beautiful, clean and peaceful! 🩷 i left My charger in the house and the owner was so helpful and was very flexible with me, i got it back the next day. She answered very fast and was so helpful with everything. I Will stay here again for sure! 10/10 🩷

I stayed again at this accommodation. Everything was fine, just like last time. Of course, now there were more pillars on the beach, etc., which were challenging for my other dog, but this is not the fault of the host.🙂🙂 Quick walk to the Pavilion where I was at our company's stand. Everything was neat and the job was done!

We had a lovely stay (6 days) and were amazed by the clean and cozy apartment. The bed was extremely comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. Niko responded very quickly to our questions. We had a great time and would come back any time.

Very good location and it is easy to get ind. Apartment has all necessary for two people. It is clean and the host is very friendly and helpful.

The most peaceful city apartment possible. Parking space a few steps from the front door and the apartment on the lowest floor easily accessible after a few steps. Well soundproofed apartment. Sauna is a big plus, easy to heat with an electric stove in half an hour to bath condition. Clean apartment everywhere, all necessary appliances and utensils. Garbage disposal is easy to handle. Spacious shower room with toilets. Good wardrobe space. A bed for a couple in the bedroom, which I now used alone. I will definitely book this again from Jyväskylä when the next visit comes...

It was easy to communicate with the host and he responded quickly. The apartment was beautiful and cozy, I enjoyed it very much.

A nice cosy little apartment close to the harbour. Easy to park your car however the area is also easy to walk around so don't worry about not having one. Shops and the harbour are just a short walk away and if you do come by car there is of course plenty of nature to explore throughout the Salpausselkä Geopark. Sanni was always quick to respond when we had questions and always very friendly to communicate with. A great stay!

The apartment was very comfortable and clean. It was in a great location close to the harbour and station. The communication with the host was fast and good. We really enjoyed our stay. We hope to come back when we visit Jyväskylä again.

Wow, what a beautiful location. And such a lovely house. There was a an original sauna on the lake which allowed us a true Finnish experience. Elina was the perfect host. She was always responsive and keen to ensure we had a great time. Anyone booking this place will not be disappointed. We will be returning- maybe when there is snow on the ground. Very cozy, spacious and peaceful accommodation and still just two kilometers from the ski resort.

Perfect stay for a bigger group. Also allows for multiple cars to be parked, just need to leave enough space for the people living in the house next door. Close enough to the center so Uber was very affordable to use since we did not want to walk at night. The surroundings seem peaceful though.

Overall every good experience staying here. Beautiful and stunning views of the lake and trees x. The sauna is also very good. But watch out if you park your cars at the yard, there are trees and rocks you need to pay attention to.

Amazing cottage at the lake even for a bigger group of people! We had an wonderful time there!

We had a nice as a group with 4 young kids. We enjoyed the great scenery through the large front windows, and especially the nice sauna and the hot tub. The kids loved running around the yard and making s’mores at the fire pit. Nice and private space, likely even better in the summer with the lake. The attention to detail in the house and facilities is really top notch and the house is clutter free (excellent for young kids). The only drawback I’d mention is that the lake water that comes from the sink and shower smells & tastes bad, but it wasn’t really an issue for us as the filter tap for drinking water in the kitchen works great. Just something to bear in mind. Overall, great time and would return.

We absolutely loved Antti’s cottage! We are familiar to the area as my family have had cottages around sysma/lake Paijanne for generations and we are hoping to build our own next year! We loved the design of this one - very modern with some original touches like old stove & clock :-) the sauna was also a little different but very cool! And of course the gardens are exceptional - Especially when they are lit at night! Our daughter loved the paddle boards & going out in the row boat and our dog loved exploring & swimming. The lake was also so flat-calm that I even managed a (very, very brief) head stand on a paddle board :-) We would definitely love to stay again! Kiitos Paljon.

I stayed for more than a week and it was perfect for me. The flat is very well-equipped and nicely situated directly by the lake. Henna is very friendly and helpful and made me feel at home straight away. I recommend 100%.

Pert's place was exactly as described. The apartment is in a cozy area and the apartment itself is peaceful and clean. It's easy to get to by car, and there's a parking spot in the yard. Pertti was responsive and greeted with keys. Communication was straightforward. I definitely recommend Pert's place 👍

A very good stay in Mäntyharju. Everything worked as expected and Piia always responded quickly if I had any questions. Perfect hub for us who were there to train and compete.

Everything went very well, Heidi was friendly and all our questions were answered quickly. The apartment was in excellent condition and really clean, special mention also for the nice linens. Warm recommendation! 🌟
