Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lake Pend Oreille

Dirty Pete’s had everything I needed to simply relax by the river. Bathroom was only a few steps away and was spotless. Tish was very proactive and quick to respond. Highly recommend this to all the nature lovers out there. Already looking forward to my next trip.

I brought my wife here as a surprise birthday vacation for her. From the initial booking through checkout Daugherty Management was incredible. They sent me a list of restaurants to take her out for dinner as well as top rated bakery’s to pickup a birthday cake. We also arrived to a “Happy Birthday” basket for my wife which included some local wines, chocolates and a few other items. The home was wonderful and the views were too beautiful to even describe. We awoke early each morning to drink coffee and watch the beautiful sunrise over the mountains. We enjoyed the peace and quiet where the only noise is the soft breeze and the wildlife that stopped to visit. There’s no road noise at all so this place is an absolutely perfect place for a regenerative stay! We absolutely will book this home again!

This is one of the most amazing properties we’ve ever stayed in. The view is amazing and having a private beach is next level. Its in kind of a little inlet area with only 5 or so other homes. We kayaked around the lake and rented a boat one day, both were so much fun and this area is perfect for it. We went swimming in the lake every single day. The fire pit is also great. The house was very clean and a starter kit of toiletries, dish soap, and laundry soap were provided. There were lots of towels. Plenty of nice soft blankets were provided also. The memory foam mattresses were great, this is the first rental I’ve had a sleep better than in my own home! Upstairs there's a loft area where our 3 kids stayed (ages 16, 5, and 2). The hosts really went the extra mile and selected quality furniture both inside and out of this property. Parking was easy, getting to standpoint was easy. There are so many things to do in this town we can't wait to come back! Communication was amazing too.

The hot tub was delightful and perfectly situated to maximize the amazing views seen from all over the house. We even enjoyed the deck chairs on a sunny winter day. Inside, the separately controlled thermostats did not go unnoticed by me (hot mama.)😉. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen, especially things like crockpot, oil, sugar, flour and ziplock bags. My daughter in law the awesome cook, especially loved the spices. A 2 cup liquid measuring cup and a water pitcher would make kitchen perfect in my opinion. The recent remodeling was lovely. The bedrooms are large enough to get around with suitcases, etc. The laundry room, hallway and pantry provided plenty of space to spread out and organize Christmas gifts, etc. Extra space is a rare commodity in most rentals. The beds were all very comfy. The remodeled bathrooms sparkled and we loved the higher vanities. An extra towel bar/ring by the sinks and a robe hook would be useful and I'm certain on the "to do " list since remodeling

This is a great stay for a couple that wants to be near the downtown/lake section of CDA but not stay in the resort. We enjoyed the seating outside, hot tub, clean and comfortable accommodations, and cutesy quaint neighborhood. We even saw the massive black, brown, and white bunnies and encountered a flock of wild turkeys while driving. Very convenient to Tubbs Hill trailhead and the big park and boardwalk. Ron was very responsive during our stay and gave clear directions- I appreciate renting from owners like him.

We loved this BnB. It's in a planned community think planned trails, amenities etc. Most of the other homes are rentals as well. It's quiet and clean. My toddlers loved the nature trail, beach, dock, beach toys and ample bike riding trails. The house encompasses everything about north idaho lake life that I love. The house is in great condition. It's well stocked and the appliances are all very nice. We hope to be back again.

We could tell that Robert and Ellen went to work for us. We had everything we needed and then some. They are thorough, detail oriented and very pleasant to interact with. Splitting the cost with a couple of good friends made it reasonable. First morning saw an owl out of the window out from the porch in the trees. Firs night saw a huge bull moose right under the porch. Looked like he thought it was as his home. Looking forward to visiting again next year.

Very nice place to stay. My wife and I planned a couple nights away without kids to relax and recharge. This is exactly the place we were looking for, we felt completely private. It was quiet and the place was well stocked with items you may need or may have forgotten. We spent the weekend going into town and seeing the water and eating at restaurants. At the location we played games, shot some hoops, and enjoyed a nice fire at night after using the hot tub. The only recommendation we have are it might be nice to provide a citronella candle, we typically will bring one camping with us but spaced it here. The mosquitos can be quite aggressive. The other thing is that GPS directions drove us up a neighbors driveway, we were able to figure it out but this is not something we were warned of. Again these are just recommendations and we would absolutely stay here again!

It only took a few steps inside to realize this stay would be something special. This space is not only beautiful but thoughtfully designed with a true sense of hygge—warm, welcoming, and effortlessly calming. As an aspiring chef who’s particular about the kitchen, I was especially impressed this kitchen. I’d seen previous reviews mentioning missing items, but I found the opposite to be true. Everything I needed was at my fingertips, from quality pans to sharp knives—clearly curated for guests who actually enjoy cooking. Mariela even checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. That level of care and communication made the entire experience seamless. The bed was incredibly comfortable—like sleeping on a cloud—and I woke up every morning to jaw-dropping views that felt like something out of a dream. It was the perfect place to reset, refocus, and feel inspired. Truly one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve had.

Beautiful and cozy space. The kids loved the loft space. The whole space was comfortable and we felt right at home. Scott & Danica provided clear instructions and a lovely space to unwind.

Perfect place to stay while visiting for a doctor's appointment. My family was looking for something close to the doctor's clinic, walkable and enjoyable while in between appointments. Bryan's place was extremely walkable, peaceful and had everything we needed.

A must stay!!! They did such a wonderful job immersing you into the Harry Potter theme. So fun, thought out and clean. We loved the big table for board games and felt right at home watching Netflix on the comfy couches. The hot tub was great too. Would recommend to everyone!

Our stay was great! The condo is beautifully appointed and full of amenities, and the location is INCREDIBLE. The walk to downhill ski access looks longer than it is on Google - it's just a couple hundred steps, and shorter on the way back! And Shannon has left clear directions in the guidebook. Also ran into the very friendly and helpful building owner in the ski locker room (which is super convenient too). We didn't need to use the car at all during our stay, and it snowed the whole time, so who could ask for more - thank you!

What a cute place! It has everything one needs. It’s quiet, peaceful, & easy to get to. Gail was a lovely host and I would stay here again.

Very nice place, great views of the water and mountains! Would stay here again! They mention this but I didn't notice it - this is not really a 5 bedroom place. One of the bedrooms is INSIDE another one, so you can't really use the bunkbed room as it's own space. Still has lots of beds though. The knives and pans should be replaced, like many rentals they are not in good shape.

We had such a blast!! The unit was so Much more than we expected. Our weather was very bipolar So it was such a treat To have an indoor an outdoor option to hang out. The cookware ....the furnishings and the bedding ....Down to the towels where all luxurious We enjoyed our daily interactions with the owners and can't wait to come back someday.

Beautiful Farm and scenery! Cassie was extremely flexible with our check in time. The house is very large and beautiful!
