Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Pontchartrain

The house was so perfect, functional, comfy, and surprisingly accommodated nine people exceptionally well. We felt so at ease and happy that we could all fit so well. We loved the living room couch, multiple naps were taken there and it fit my two aunts side by side on one end! Just can't say enough how family friendly the house is. I felt closer to my family because it was an open concept; however, there was enough space between living and dining room to carry separate conversations. It was also really close to major attractions like Bourbon street, which was not as important for us this trip since tourism wasn't our main focus, but it was so easy to go for a quick jaunt into Jackson Square and Cafe Du Monde. The neighborhood seemed so safe, we all felt comfortable going out to our car late at night. And the neighbors were friendly. Also, with such a boisterous family I felt like we were able to still be ourselves. I'd definitely stay here again, we loved it.

This Airbnb was great with such character. We loved everything about our stay. We found it very comfortable and it was well stocked with all we needed. Coffee and filters were provided as well as laundry soap if needing to do a load of laundry. We would stay here again.

No complaints, we didn’t spend a lot of time there because we were off exploring but the backyard is perfect for your pets, they have laundry and fully stocked kitchen. AC was clutch. Very comfortable and cozy home. Would def stay again and highly recommend. Thank you Danny B

This was a terrific place to stay. Walkable to Frenchmen Street but far enough that it was quiet at night. Dana was a good communicator and quickly supplied soap that had run out. Overall, I highly recommend.

David and Cassondra were very gracious and set the house up for a good time. My sons fished every morning and every evening. We caught crabs in the traps daily. Plenty of tackle and bait shops nearby. It was a 25 minute drive into downtown New Orleans. So the best of both worlds. The house was stocked with spices and condiments. Really enjoyed our stay and recommend it with 5 stars ⭐️

Easy to navigate the area, quiet neighborhood, cottage cozy and clean, loved the outdoor and backyard property , pool was awesome and great area for dogs. Jeff and Shari were above and beyond gracious!! Will definitely return!!

Place had a lot of old and historic charm. Great living area for our party of 8 to hang out and spend time together. There is a long term tenant that stays in an attached apartment, but the house still feels really private. Overall a great place to stay for our trip!

The house was just what our family needed for our trip to NOLA. The location is perfect. It took us about 15 minutes to get to wherever we wanted to go. There are plenty of restaurants and markets close by and within walking distance. The neighborhood was friendly and felt very safe. The house was just as described and was a nice place to come back to after a long day exploring. The hosts supplied so many things that are often forgotten by travelers. The pool was a welcome respite after a long hot day. The house provides plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. NOLA definitely has its own vibe and this house allowed us to feel like the locals during our stay. Thanks for sharing.

Everything was exactly as described. Alleshia was very responsive to all inquires. We ended up being there during terrific downpours, so we spent cozy hours indoors. The neighborhood is interesting and some of the properties are undergoing a face lift.

Such a beautiful and spacious home. It was super easy to get into and the beds were so comfortable. We loved the outdoor space and using the pool. The neighborhood was very nice and neighbors were friendly. Would 100% return!

This little green house is small but so cozy and perfect for a weekend get away. It is set on a beautiful piece of property that is private, yet not isolated. We very much enjoyed both the amenities of the house itself as well as fishing in the pond, thanks to the very well equipped fishing supplies on site. The kitchen is perfect for cooking a small meal, the bedroom is cozy and comfortable, and the decor is very cute. We cannot wait to stay here again!

Madeline’s listing was accurate and very clean. I wasn’t expecting it to be at a campground on a lake, but I have no complaints about that. Overall, this is a nice, clean place with all the amenities you need at a very reasonable price.

Had a wonderful stay! The place is beautifully decorated, great amenities, attention to every single detail and all you need for a perfect home away from home. Incredibly clean, too. Our dog loved swimming in the pond and discovering the outdoors. Enjoyed having coffee in the mornings on the front porch looking at the beautiful landscape while listening to the wild life. Highly recommend it!

Our stay was great. It’s a bit off the beaten path. My kids loved looking for gators and other wildlife out back. It’s in the swamp so expect some bugs to be around, but nothing that isn’t manageable! Loved the place and would stay here again and recommend to others! Brandi was a very responsive host as well

2nd time staying here and would book it again when coming back to the area. Great hosts, charming accommodations, comfortable beds and nice water pressure in the shower. Where do I even begin? My family and I had the most magical time at Stella and Keith’s farm. The tee pee itself was such a fun experience. It was gorgeous-quite magnificent to take in once you lay eyes on it. Super clean, comfortable. The attention to detail, care and love they have put into the space is just incredible. It was such a fun way to introduce our very young children to “camping”, while still having the luxuries of AC, running water and electricity. The surroundings are beautiful and the farm itself is so creatively constructed. It’s definitely a unique place - fun for the whole family. Stella and Keith were the icing on the cake. Stella let my daughter milk a goat, feed the animals, and even sent us home with sour dough starter and other farm fresh goodies. Such a treat and a place we will definitely be returning to very soon!

A serene cabin in a great location with tons of nature and water nearby. We really enjoyed the pond, the canoe, and the outdoor games provided. Easy to get into town for supplies. Communication was quick and clear with the hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay at the creek house! The house itself was large and comfortable, and was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We especially enjoyed the view down to the creek from the wraparound deck. Our kids had a great time splashing in the water and playing in the sand; it felt pretty special to have our own private beach. Polly was an excellent and responsive host and clearly has put a lot of thought into her guests' comfort (it was so wonderful that all the light switches were labeled!) We'd be happy to visit again!

I'm so glad I chose to stay here. It's such a peaceful place to stay and hands down one of the best Airbnb's I've been to. Stayed with my 4 year old and 6 month old. Got good use out of the crib, and my 4 year old slept on the oversized chair + ottoman in the bedroom quite well. Was basically the same size as a toddler bed! The property is beautiful and spotless. The beds were incredibly comfy. Without hesitation I would 100% stay again!

Great home in a gated community. Very close to restaurants and shopping! Owner was very accommodating. Would def recommend for your next stay in Baton Rouge!
