Fantastic location, especially if you plan to visit the Sleeping Giant. Huge outdoor space with multiple deck levels, all lit up at night both with solar and motion lighting. Cozy cottage with everything we needed, including a really nice hot tub after a day of hiking and biking. Great stop - would definitely stay again!

Just book it! My husband and I agree- the best view we’ve ever had! Beautiful at sunrise through sunset, followed by the most perfect stars once darkness sets in. There is a lot of fun hiking in the area and this made such a perfect home base. The views from the hot tub are unbelievable! Scotty was responsive and helpful with local recommendations. We were traveling with our two young daughters who loved the space- plenty of room for all of us. If we’re lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay here again, we enthusiastically would.

Super comfortable, nice place to stay, we had to leave early for an emergency and Jerry was super understanding about it. He is a great host and the house is adorable!

This home is absolutely beautiful, and has a lot of amenities right there for you. 3 families were on this vacation 6 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room and activities to do for all of us. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots pans and even spices. We always bring our own but it was an added bonus, some BNBs are flvery frugal. There was even a washer and dryer available which was so nice to use. Overall this place was a absolutely beautiful and we would stay again, maybe a little further in the summer to get in the lake more, the shallow waters and tide pools were amazing to walk in and explore. We saw so many tadpoles and even found a salamander. Our vacation was so lovely. This place is full of amenities, space to hang out and tons of property to explore.

Property was spacious, well maintained, and clean. Host provided clear instructions and was always friendly, proactive and responsive. This definitely contributed to an overall positive vacation experience!

This setting allowed me to qualify my stay in this airbnb and honestly for my family and I, 5 points doesn’t qualify how great was our experience, we considered it is a 10. Cara’s Airbnb is a beautiful place, cozy, clean, spacious. It is a mixture of luxury/rural cabin that provides the perfect environment for the most enjoyable stay. We will love to return to Wisconsin next year and definitely we will return to Cara’s place.

In general, I really liked everything 🥹 The hot tub is just great 😍 Everything is clean and tidy, Jacqueline was very quick and clear in responding to messages. We had a problem with a tree falling on the road and no access to the house, but George fixed it literally 5 minutes after I messaged him. The only thing that was a bit of a disadvantage was the condition of the kitchen, in my opinion, it needs a little repair. But in general, this did not interfere with our vacation, so we were satisfied and I can confidently recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to be alone with nature. This place is really worth a visit!😊

Loved the seclusion, the hot tub and the location was the perfect get away!

Beautiful, secluded area. We saw deer, turkeys, a porcupine, and other birds. We also watched the sunrise several times. Arlen was gone but his parents, who live next door, were very responsive, including selling us fresh bread and helping us look at our car when we had an issue. While you're on the island, check out the fort and the artifact museum. Bring bug spray for the mosquitoes. Depending on your water preference, you might want to buy bottled water to drink. Also, the beach is more rocky than sandy. Overall though, we definitely enjoyed our stay.

This was a very cozy home with a cottage feel, loved the fenced in yard since we brought our dog with. Will definitely recommend!

I had a great time staying here for my snowmobile trip. The cabin accommodates 8 people comfortable and with it being right on the lake it is convenient

We had a great stay! Plenty of space for 3 couples and a 3 year old. The house was set up nice and had lots of great amenities including everything we needed to keep our kiddo busy. The views are amazing from the house and the location was great. A nice middle point from activities in Sault St Marie and Whitefish Point/Tahquamenon.

It was a wonderful place to stay with the touch of history that the UP has since it was a mining house at one time. Everything was very clean and taken care of. Would recommend to anyone heading to the keweenaw and look for a good location with all sorts of history, waterfalls, and rock hunting around.

Loved our stay! So clean and spacious, great place for our family to enjoy the area! Loved having a camp fire and watching the river off the dock.

This home has everything you need. Kitchen is very well stocked, plenty of towels, and wood for a fire. The crows nest has great views!

Really appreciate finding this fun little house. My 2 sons and I were in town for a hockey tournament and really didn’t want to stay at a hotel. We were able to bring our dog, eat healthy breakfasts and not hear all of the hotel traffic all night long. We walked to dinner Friday night and enjoyed how close we were to everything. On my early morning walks with the dog I got to watch an eagle fishing in the lake and deer walking right down the street. My only regret is we didn’t get to spend more time enjoying the place.

I recently spent three lovely June days at this cottage and it was a most relaxing experience. Being right on the lake, see the Sleeping Giant off in the distance, and hearing the waves rolling in was part of that. So was how nicely appointed the cottage was; nice indoor sitting area, good kitchen, comfy beds and great deck outside. My only regret about staying here was that I did not book it for longer.

When we walked in it was very clean and cozy. Just like being at home. The view of the water is beautiful, so many amenities, it was great! I would definitely stay her again and recommend Tom’s place to everyone.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect with modern bathrooms and a large kitchen. The private beach is awesome and we enjoyed s’more with the fire pit. We were there in early June and there were lots of mosquitoes so be prepared. Our host was very attentive and provided information to assist with our visit. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Barbara’s place was exactly what I needed! Secluded and sounded by nature, we saw a cute deer within minutes of arriving. The inside is cozy and makes you feel at home. I will always book here if possible when in the area.

This was our first trip to Minnesota to do some rock hunting and our stay here was fantastic! The inside of the cabin is gorgeous and freshly remodeled. It was great to have a fire pit in the backyard and firewood available. It was in a great location for us, central to the beaches that we wanted to go see. The host is very responsive whenever we sent a message or had a question. We will definitely be back and staying in this location again! I cannot say enough good things about this place!

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Lori had everything we needed. She communicated throughout our visit as there were fire restrictions in place. As soon as they were lifted she let us know. I can’t wait to return!

Debbie's cottage is everything the site shows it to be. Staying in this pristine pine cottage nestled on a beautiful Northwoods lake on a quiet road surrounded by birch and pines met every hope and dream for this trip. Especially for my grandson who came with no agenda but to fish. He caught a 12# Northern off their dock! Debbie and Keith were beyond accommodating, so attentive to what we might need. I am so grateful to them and for having had this experience. Strongly recommend this for a Northwoods, lake-life getaway.

The River House is the perfect location for a peaceful and scenic getaway and is situated overlooking the Chocolay River with the Iron Ore Heritage Trail just steps away. Marquette with its many amenities is a short drive and the Pictured Rocks in Munising is well worth experiencing for its natural beauty. Toni is a very responsive host and always accessible if needs arise. Overall, you will enjoy your stay!
