Yurt holiday rentals in Lake Superior

Had an amazing experience at Twisted Twig Yurt! We stayed in February and the snowy location and quiet surroundings were perfect. We stayed warm with the wood stove and wood provided. Clean and had everything we needed and lots of small touches that showed forethought about our experience. Easy drive into Bayfield, shopping and great lunch at Many Penny. Experienced the Chequamegon Bay ice caves and Mt Ashwabay cross country skiing what a great experience with our cozy home base at the Yurt.

The walk in is about 1/2 mile, but at a steep grade - be ready. The yurt was GREAT! A wonderful wood stove, lots of wood, and an AMAZING view. Secluded and peaceful, loved it.

I had an excellent stay. Really enjoyed the experience staying here on a rainy night. The fireplace was perfect for taking off the chill and it was peaceful listening to the rain on the yurt roof while staying dry. I will certainly be back!

Solitude! Favorite place.

Mushers Village was a perfect getaway to spend with friends and family. Centralized location in the U.P to visit the Pictured rocks, Munising, and Tahquamenon falls. highly recommend this place. the Camp Kitchen was amazing too.

Our stay at the turtle yerts were a perfect glamping experience. When it was cold and rainy, the yert was warm and dry. The heating system was quick with portable heaters we could put next to the bed and in the bathrooms. The hot/cold setting was opposite in the shower, but Gina and her crew were quick to respond how to troubleshoot it for a hot shower after a hike. The coffee pot was great for a mid-day hot cocoa. There was little storage inside, which cluttered the yert quickly - but we made do! You wouldn’t know you were so close to town. We brought a table outside for cooking which was very helpful, there are only two chairs around the campfire. There was plenty of firewood for our stay. The yerts are close together, but we were the only ones there during the week so it wasn’t an issue.

Great place to stay for a quiet weekend in Bayfield! Everything is as described so it was a perfect glamping situation complete with a shower and good drinking water.

Was exactly what we needed, an escape from the city and it was a beautiful getaway. I was worried about the yurt being too cold, but the fireplace heats up the space very quickly! They have lots of blankets and heaters and fans and the entire thing has electricity! It was awesome!

I had a fantastic stay! The yurt was amazing and having an outdoor space to enjoy was nice as well. The communication from Gina was great, very responsive. The directions to the site were accurate and was helpful on how the roads were laid out making finding it even easier. Gina provided quite a few suggestions on what to do and places to visit. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to do so again in the future. Thank you Gina on a relaxing stay!

What a cozy yurt! We had a wonderful time!

Had a great time staying in the yurt. Great location and a short commute to the ferry’s for Mackinac Island. Would definitely stay here again!

The eagle yurt was exactly as it looked. It is a great place to have family together in a rustic yet comfortable environment. Each night and every morning we enjoyed a relaxing fire by sunset and sunrise. Wildlife was abundant with beavers by day and the sound of coyotes and owls at night. Other guests were kind, helpful, and generous, while the property manager Jay was approachable, informative, and gave great tips and pointers on local attractions. It is rustic, with pit bathrooms away from the yurt. We didn’t mind this at all but others might. We can’t wait to stay again.

Danna' yurt was an absolute dream! Close to many restaurants, hiking spots, and beautiful views, while still feeling private and secluded. The yurt was thoughtfully decorated and delightfully cozy. Will definitely be my new go-to spot anytime I'm in the Northwoods. Truly such a gem.

We enjoyed the peaceful yurt life! This was exactly what we were looking for and an overall great experience. We’d like to come back in the summertime!

We had an amazing time! This is the second yurt we have stayed in, this one was the best one so far. Very comfortable bed the AC was nice during the day and heat was great when the temps dropped at night!!Loved that it had a mini fridge so we didn’t have to have cooler all weekend!

Our stay at Bearadise 2 was incredible! The location was perfect, the drive back to the yurt was exciting and full of mother natures beauty. Even saw a shooting star 🤩 we can’t wait to come back again and again!
