Erik was a phenomenal host, went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay at his house. His family were lovely people and helpful with any and all questions. Erik gave is good clear instructions on the best places to go to in the area, how to travel to the city and how to use all the appliances/facilities in the house. I couldn’t recommend him any more, he made our stay really more comforting and laid a great basis for our stay in Chicago. Cheers Erik!

Jennifer was a very hospitable host and I had a very pleasant stay. The room was very clean and quiet!

Very comfy apartment in a great neighborhood. We were in town for a baseball game and it’s a terrific place for that, just about a 20-minute walk to Wrigley Field. The only thing to be concerned about is the stairs: there are two flights to get into the apartment and they’re fairly steep and small, so if you have mobility issues that would be a concern. I don’t and had no problem. Karen is a lovely host and was very helpful when I was getting into the place and unloading my stuff from my car. There are tons of restaurants and coffee shops in the area, so it’s a great place to explore and hang out.

Tim and Barbara have created the best AirBnB we've ever experienced! They have thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Our top two items are always safety and cleanliness, and both of those were a 10/10. So, all of the other little details they've added are like icing on the cake. From the welcome tour, a little snack basket in the room, a guidebook and maps on hand to give us ideas plan our days, quick responses to every communication, and just being friendly, inviting hosts, our first big trip to Chicago couldn't have been any better. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Was a very nice and relaxing place to stay after spending time in the city! Really close to multiple bus stops which made the public transport really easy to access. The inside was very clean and nice, the bed is extremely comfortable! Would stay again!

Tippi was a great host! The room was clean & comfortable. The area has a few gems and great transport options. Would definitely recommend to others to stay if you're looking for a place not too far out of the city!

This is a charming and very comfortable unit. All the amenities are thoughtful and more generous than most other AirBNBs that I’ve stayed. We found the location very convenient to family and Northwestern U, and even getting downtown. The unit was spotless, clean and organized. And exceeded our expectations. Being able to park in the garage was a huge benefit for us. We had a busy schedule with leaving in the morning and not getting back until later evening. It was so nice not to have to search for street parking and not have that worry. We very much enjoyed our stay. This will be our “place” when we return. Elizabeth

Nancy’s place was the perfect location for our trip to Chicago. We used the “L” and buses to go anywhere we wanted to go. The house was very clean and we had every amenity that we could need. I would highly recommend staying here and anytime I return to Chicago I will always stay here!

Hubby and I were in Chicago for 5 nights to visit our son. The studio was the perfect environment to return to at the end of each day and we very much enjoyed our stay. It is clean, stylish and very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe when out walking. There are numerous good restaurants and stores that are within walking distance, and we were able to easily secure ride-share when needed. Nick was a great communicator and was always quick to respond to questions. Also he was very kind and accommodated our late afternoon flight and request for a late checkout. Would definitely stay here again.

I truly enjoyed our stay here! So many places to select when you’re looking to book it can be overwhelming. I am so happy we picked it his spot the location was perfect! It’s a quick walk to anything you need. The place is very spacious and comfortable, I love the modern look! Carlos and his team went way above and beyond helping us feel right at home! The place was in a really convenient location, the place itself is really neat. The only downside is the noise from the train. But overall, it was good for our trip!

When we were first looking for a place to stay, none of the available AirB&Bs looked great. A week later, we looked again, and suddenly Julia's place popped up. It was so much better looking, and with a fairer price, than any others I could find in the list. A two-bedroom that is a *real* two-bedroom, for the price that others were charging for a pull-out bed in the living room. It was just as beautiful in-person. We felt immediately at-home and comfortable. I'm someone who has insomnia, especially while traveling, but there, I had no problem sleeping somehow. Also, it truly is a short walk to the Blue Line, or even a just few steps from the 77 bus route, which goes to the Blue Line, or all the way right into downtown Chicago.

Matthew's home was incredible! It was a beautiful and comfy space and immaculately clean. The instructions he provided to check-in, where to find things, etc. were very accurate and well thought out. There were more amenities than mentioned in the listing. It really felt like staying in a real home and not a normal Airbnb rental. Matthew was very responsive and really made our stay special. He really went above and beyond any host I have seen before. We were in Chicago for my daughter's college graduation and he made a personalized welcome and congratulations sign in the kitchen just for us. Additionally, on our first morning, there was a chance of rain in the area and on his own, Matthew went out and purchased and provided umbrellas in case we needed them. Above and beyond hosting! I can't recommend this home highly enough!

My sister and I had a great time in Chicago. The location and accommodations were perfect! A block and 1/2 from Wrigley, yes we saw a game and the Cubs win! A block and 1/2 away from the “L” and a quiet neighborhood. The inside had everything we needed to make breakfast, sleep and relax on the backside porch sipping champagne. Would give this place 6 stars if I could. Thanks Mike for being a great host.

My daughter and I stayed at Izakaya Studio on a recent visit to Chicago. The studio is great and Brett made it so easy to locate everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The next time we stay I hope to spend more time exploring the neighborhood because there were so many restaurants and shops to choose from (lots of open-air patios and decks which would be so nice during the summer season). The walk to the blue line El stop felt safe and quick. We loved the studio's layout. The kitchen and bedroom areas were separate and Brett has two big, comfy chairs for relaxing, and ample island space for eating or using as a work space. My daughter had some virtual work meetings and the Wi-Fi was reliable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need for meal prep. We ate out each day, but our delicious breakfast take-out came from a place right up the street called Yolk. I highly recommend the Izakaya Studio for a relaxing and fun visit to Chicago.

Will’s flat was exactly what my son and I needed on our trip to Chicago. It completely met our expectations and felt like home. My son was impressed with the comfort of the Murphy bed. The master bedroom was palatial and well-appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed, though we only used it for breakfast each day. As we were there primarily to take in a couple of baseball games we couldn’t have been happier with the location- Wrigley Field was only a few minutes away and we were close to the red line which took us to where the White Sox play. Will was very helpful with instructions and quick to respond to our questions. Absolutely would recommend this place without hesitation.

Great location, and easy access to all main streets. The neighborhood is quiet, and very safe. The people in the neighborhood were very welcoming. The condo was nice, very spacious and a great value for the cost.

The time spent here was wonderful. This place has everything you need to feel at home away from home. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area was also really nice with tons of food and drinks within walking distance. The blue line is a short walk away and the busses run on the corner. I would definitely stay here again when coming back to Chicago.
