Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lake Washington

Gabe and Raluca are excellent hosts, and their home is gorgeous. We booked it for a small elopement ceremony and it was absolutely perfect. The backyard is immaculate and the furnishings throughout the home are beautiful. The space is very thoughtfully laid out, and they have wonderful amenities available. Small touches we really appreciated included the huge selection of bagged and loose-leaf teas, as well as the mini-bar in the kitchenette, which was pre-stocked with soft-drinks and chilled bottles of water. They have bluetooth speakers for guest use throughout the home, vintage handheld video-game systems, and even complimentary perfume and cologne, which we had a lot of fun with. This was our favorite airbnb we have ever stayed in, and we would absolutely recommend it for anyone who is looking for somewhere to host small gatherings or just escape the city for the weekend.

Lori’s place was AMAZING!!! She was extremely helpful and always responded quickly. The place was beautiful inside and out! The area is also very walkable, safe, and quiet. This location was a quick 8-10 min drive to the university of Washington which was perfect for my visit for school. I especially appreciated the laundry facilities so I didn’t have to worry about extra chores once I got home! I will absolutely be staying at Lori’s place again and would recommend to anyone coming to the Seattle area!

What a beautiful location to stay with family! The Sound and Mt Rainier views were stunning. A rocky beach was just a short walk down the road from the house with an amazing array of driftwood. We were able to explore part of the Olympic National Forest, a botanical garden, and light house visit. Plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. My adult children enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. The contemporary style home had beautiful wood/stone/tile/brick features. We spotted seals from the lookout deck near the edge of the bluff as well as bald eagles and some herons. A very restful experience giving us time to reconnect as a family. We appreciate Justin and Lauren letting us stay at their home/sanctuary.

Location is great for what we needed. Plenty of space and room for everyone. Helpful tips to future guests: If it’s your first time in Seattle area and used to AC, this home is not fully equipped with AC provided on all floors (only master), so you’ll need to open the windows and air out the place especially if it’s hot out. Be mindful that this place has stairs and isn’t friendly to those that can’t do stairs. 4 levels of stairs.

This is a very comfortable place with a small kitcenette and wonderful beds. The bathroom is a little tight but completely equipped. It is located on a busy commuter street of the island. This is makes it very well located for getting anywhere. Also it is far enough off the street to be quiet and cozy inside. The only thing we would have liked was a table for dining, working or playing games. I guess there's just not enough room for it. Yvonne is super pleasant and communicative. We had an awesome stay.

I would live in this Airbnb! What a peaceful, beautifully decorated, clean and calming space. The hosts and their sweet dog were lovely, and very flexible and accommodating. What a perfect place in a neighborhood I fell in love with. Thank you! I’d love to come back.

The house was beautiful and had lots of thoughtful touches and amenities. The Welcome Guide had lots of local information and laid out nicely. Lots of books, puzzles, coloring pages, games, etc in addition to all the water toys and scenic views. The house was very pet friendly and had a basket with dog towels, feeding mat, and toys. The background was beautiful and worked but was a little difficult for our dog as there wasn't a lot of grass/areas to potty other than gravel/gardens.

By far the best short term rental we have ever had! If you value the old school rental experience, this is the perfect place for you. The cottage is in beautiful, clean and in updated condition. The hosts are warm and welcoming - friendly and not intrusive at all. They reached out prior and had the cutest welcome basket with snacks and champagne. I can’t say enough about the space and surrounding areas! We had a blast using the kayaks and paddle board, and the hosts even dropped off some pool floats to use in the lake as well. Kitchen was stocked well, beds were comfortable and moderately firm. Everything was extremely clean and well taken care of. We will be back!

Great place to stay in Kirkland and easy to get around to other Seattle sights and locations. Especially enjoy time on the covered patio, enjoying the beautiful garden. The kitchenette had everything we needed and 1 off-street parking space was provided.

Great host and beautiful apartment. Sweet outdoor space. Very quiet and clean with everything we needed for a nice stay. The unit has quite a few stairs leading up to it and steps inside to be aware of for elderly or those with physical challenges. Great stay and I would stay here again for sure.

Truly enjoyed this location as a place to reset. It's a dream view when you wake up and get up in the morning. Hope to come back here soon.

A few things to mention: there is a reason why the rating is 4.99. The place is great for those looking for a full unit. The location is nearly unbeatable as far as beauty, walkability, things nearby and and proximity to other locations (shopping, fitness, downtown). The hosts are very friendly and helpful. I will note that my GPS pointed me to the wrong side of the street, so that is something one may need to consider.

Location, location, location… This place is perfect for what I'm looking for when staying in West Seattle. Close to the beaches, close to fabulous restaurants, close to everything you need. Jay is an extremely friendly host and willing to help. Place has everything you need inside..only exception would be creamer for my coffee. What a beautiful, beautiful neighborhood, what a fun place...we had a really great time staying here.

I really like this house and the host is very friendly and responds very quickly. I booked this house for my mom and my younger brother as it was their first visit to the U.S. to attend my graduation ceremony. The neighborhood is very safe, and the house is warm and cozy! And also this is a safe and peaceful neighborhood, they are friendly! Highly recommended!

What a beautiful property! My friends and I had the best time enjoying the stunning views, gorgeous house and the relaxing hottub. It was perfect for a girl’s trip. The host was kind and helpful as well. We would love to come back someday!

The home comfortably accommodated everyone, and the outdoor area—with its spacious patio and beautiful view—was a highlight. Amazing Get together in a equally amazing Air BnB. this Lake corner Air BnB, had everything you need for 4 Families. Kayaks, multiple Sitout places near Lake, amazing Game Room. Lakeview Bedrooms, Clean bathroom with all toiletries. needed Umbrellas and were arranged on short notice. Special mention to sofas which were super comfortable and high quality. Lakeview Kitchen with required Utensils and helped us to cook Amazing Indian dishes. Thanks Anu for amazing time in Seattle/Tacoma.

Stay in 5 star luxury accommodations while enjoying the most iconic view in Seattle! Ken’s lux townhome is the perfect base for discovering Seattle. Within minutes you’re enjoying DT Seattle, Pike Place market, the Seattle Space needle, or any of the DT sports venues. Several outstanding markets, including Whole Foods and Metropolitan Market, as well as fish right off the boat at near by Salmon Bay are close if you decide to cook in the chef’s kitchen with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances. Ken is an outstanding host offering local insights to the Seattle culture. Joe was extremely helpful and communicative with the check in and check out process.

This is our 2nd time staying at Dewen's place and we enjoyed it just as much as we did the first time. If we had known we'd need an Airbnb for as long as we do, we would have planned to stay here the entire time. It is easily walkable to Starbucks, Fred Myers and several restaurants (5 minutes). A slightly longer walk will take you to Gilman Village where there are restaurants, shops and Issaquah Coffee Company. The location is private, peaceful (there is noise from the freeway and larger roads nearby, but it was not at all a problem for us) and beautiful. We often saw deer in the yard and saw tons of different kinds of birds. I enjoyed just sitting on the deck relaxing in the beautiful surroundings and our dogs loved running around sniffing at the mole hills. The living/dining areas are very spacious, as is the master bedroom. There is an additional bedroom and a loft if you have a larger party. I would gladly stay here any time we need an Airbnb in the area.

Fantastic getaway location that offered tremendous privacy. Extremely spacious house that was even bigger than the pictures made it look. House had everything we needed from plenty of towels to soap/spices/basic amenities. For those coming in the winter months, be aware that the drive up is extremely steep and I would highly recommend 4 wheel drive if there is snow or ice. Rita was extremely proactive and responsive with her communication! Definitely worth the stay for a small group looking for a peaceful place to escape.
