Intérêt : ballades à pied, à vélo, brasserie artisanale, site minier, abbaye de Val Dieu, le cimetière américain, Valkenburg et Montjoie (Monschau) vallent le détour. Ons zonnig gelegen vrijstaand chalet ligt op een terrein van 450 m², midden in het bos op een recreatiedomein in (Gellik) België. Nog geen negen kilometer van Maastricht, waar wij de verhuurders zelf wonen. Het domein grenst aan het Nationaal Park Hoge Kempen, waar het voor natuurliefhebbers genieten is. De activiteiten zijn talloos: van fietsen, wandelen, paardrijden etc. Of een citytrip naar Maastricht. Bij het chalet staat een afsluitbare schuur waar u max. 2 fietsen kan zetten.

Naast de geweldige omgeving is er vanalles in de buurt te doen voor jong en oud. Steden zoals Maastricht, Hasselt, Valkenburg en Aachen zijn goed te doen per auto. Maar ook de prachtige wandel- en fietsroutes zijn zeker de moeite waard.
