We had a great weekend with the family in Bernard and Nathalie's house. A very pleasant and friendly personalized welcome for a house where you immediately feel at home thanks to neat decoration, impeccable cleanliness, all the necessary equipment and even more in each room. Young and old enjoyed the activities on the lake and around (very nice lake 10 steps away) thanks to the equipment left available (canoe paddle bike barbecue) and beautiful moments in the evening with the foosball, games and beautiful terrace for meals with lake view. Really a gem, we will come back and we really recommend this place.

The stay was most enjoyable, the house perfectly matching the description provided in the listing. The region is splendid, although the weather conditions have not been favorable for long walks. We will certainly return when the sun is present. In addition, if you are traveling with your small dogs, a pleasant walk to consider is that of the chemin du lavoir in Montans, lasting about an hour to an hour and a half, ideal for both dogs and their owners.

We are delighted with our stay with my daughter. Yvonne is a really charming and caring host. The site is very beautiful and very quiet and the presence of horses brings a plus to the atmosphere that reigns in the area. Breakfast was excellent and the little dog really very funny😊. We'll be back with great pleasure.

I celebrated my 30th birthday with several friends at Philippe's, the place is ideal with the pool and the large grounds. Philippe is very responsive, friendly and flexible on arrival and departure times. I would highly recommend it!

We had a truly memorable stay at Karen and Laka’s beautiful home in the peaceful village of Varen, France. The location is ideal for exploring some of the most charming towns in the region - Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, Najac, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Albi, and more are all within easy reach. The property itself is thoughtfully appointed, with a lovely private patio garden that opens up to a breathtaking meadow. The swimming pool is perfectly positioned to take in sweeping views of the countryside, forest, and even the village church tower - it’s the kind of peaceful backdrop that invites deep relaxation. Karen and Laka are warm, welcoming hosts who instantly make you feel at home. They offered fantastic local tips and recommendations, clearly sharing a strong connection to their community. Their genuine hospitality made the experience feel less like a rental and more like a second home. 10/10 we’d love to return and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an authentic French break.

We had an absolutely perfect stay! The accommodation was as described, very clean, comfortable and good location. Quiet place, close to everything to visit (Cordes sur ciel, Castres, Passerelle de Mazamet, Albi, Sidobre... The host was extremely welcoming, responsive, which really made the experience even better. I highly recommend this address and will not hesitate to come back during a future visit.

Very good welcome, small welcome gift, with all the basic necessities. Ideally located apartment to visit the beautiful city of Albi. If the traffic is quite heavy during the day, it is very quiet at night. We recommend this apartment, not far from the center and pretty villages nearby.

Stunning property in beautiful isolation, with woodland, wild garden areas and babbling stream - but close to pretty small villages and Carcassonne only 1/2 hour away with large supermarkets for a “big” shop. Very easy to settle in to a very relaxing holiday. Our host has a family house renovated sympathetically full of character and personal effects. 3 good sized bedrooms, though only one toilet on the bedroom floor. Huge living room with fantastic views - ditto the kitchen, which is well stocked. We met Guillaume whilst mowing his vast area of grass - absolutely charming and he was very helpful and responsive throughout. Some toys, cot and a stair gate for our toddler grandson! We absolutely loved it - a joy and a privilege to experience this unique property. PS NOT for people with mobility problems. We absolutely loved it!

Thanks to Fabienne for her hospitality, she is very responsive to answering questions and was a good source of advice for visiting the area. She and her husband are lovely people. They run a charming little restaurant in the village, very nice to have a good time. We had a great weekend with friends with our children. The house is perfectly clean and tastefully decorated. The environment is relaxing and peaceful if you want to disconnect from your life at 100 miles an hour and you enjoy nature, this is the right place! The WiFi works without any problems😉! The Castrum is very charming, pleasant and quiet. Everything you need for a good stay is there. The accommodation is very clean with a warm welcome.

It's a great place in nature and calm, the only noises are the cars on the other side of the Tarn. We - a couple - spent 6 nights at the castle in a studio. Also, for 2 nights a friend was with us. The studio is well equipped with everything you need and with nice details like pockets next to the large bed (tablet, phone etc.). Alexandra and Liza are very nice. They live upstairs with their 2 children, their entrance is on the other side of the building, so we were completely on our own. Nevertheless, they were always reachable to answer our questions or to fill the bottle of vinegar and oil. Activities: Swimming, kayaking 50 m, many hiking trails. Visit Albi and Toulouse. Subordinate points: - The studio was wet. The owners have already taken measures. - At the beginning, there are a lot of flies in the area, no one's fault. A big thank you to both of you!!

We were lodged for two days and it was amazing. Ben was super friendly always and gave very clear directions and offered us many amenities. I definitely recommend it 100% and would repeat the stay with him again. The village is super quiet and beautiful and if you want to disconnect it is 100.
