13th-century Priory Dairy with private courtyard

I recently stayed at this charming Airbnb cottage and had a fantastic experience! The cottage is cozy, beautifully decorated, and has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect—nestled in a quiet, scenic area but still close to local attractions. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. I especially loved the peaceful garden and the thoughtful touches throughout the space. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

3 Chestnut Terrace by The Suffolk Cottage Collecti

I would just like to congratulate Donna on the perfect AirBnB property. Spotlessly clean, stylish, comfortable, quiet and yet within walking distance of shops, lovely pubs, a National Trust property and a stunning church. Lovely attention to details & thoughtfully providing fresh bread, milk, eggs etc. I wouldn't hesitate in highly recommending staying here.

Red Lion Corner

This was a lovely home from home in a charming, wonky, quirky house. More than enough room for 6, we had a lovely relaxing stay where we felt very comfortable and particularly enjoyed watching the world go by from the beautiful bay window. It was an excellent location with lots to see and do.

The Coach House.

TinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a beautiful place to stay. The cottage is immaculate and the surroundings amazing - we loved watching pheasants and hares in the field outside the sitting room and bedroom windows. As we have dogs it was super to have a safe enclosed garden and then to be able to open the gate straight onto the footpath - we enjoyed several local walks from the doorstep. We were staying to host a birthday lunch for my mother and sister, and it was such a bonus to have a well equipped kitchen and excellent dining/social space. Plus the bed was very comfy and showers were hot! A great place to stay - we hope to stay again when we next visit family nearby

Cosy 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Cottage

GrahamRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Sue's cottage is a really lovely, tranquil place to stay. The location is rural but close to Long Melford where we enjoyed dinner at two excellent restaurants. Shops and other amenities are also close by. The Cottage is warm (especially in front of the log burner!), extremely well equipped and is absolutely spotless. The beds are comfy, the decor tasteful and the welcome pack both thoughtful and generous. Sue and Julian are the nicest of people - friendly, welcoming, helpful but also respectful of their guests and their privacy. Nothing was too much trouble and communication was first class. We were also encouraged to enjoy the extensive grounds around the cottage and main house and in summer there is plenty of opportunity to relax outdoors. Finally, as well as recommending the Cottage without reservation a word also for two of Long Melford's restaurants - the Black Lion and Scutchers. Both are excellent and included in Sue's comprehensive 'House Book'.

Crabtree Cottage

Absolutely loved it, great place to stay, easy to get to all the major places you need to get to. Jo was spot on with her directions and so friendly, and as for the dog, loved her...so friendly. The cottage was as described and so peaceful, and in this hot weather, so cool. Small community shop and postoffice around 3 miles away, be aware a lot of the pubs and eating places are closed Monday but the Dog at Norton is open and was fantastic. Places to go, the coast, Aldeburgh, Woodbridge, Southwold and Bury St Edmunds are superb, must do places to visit... we did all of them and a few more i would rather not recommend, only a personel view. Get to Jo's place .. you wont regret it

Charming 3 Church walk, sleeps 4

KathleenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely little cottage, perfect for two adults, and would manage if there were also two children staying who would probably love their bunk beds. Soft double bed and everything well laid out. A reminder that there’s no shower (and the roll top bath is a bit small) or microwave. Very pleased with the location looking out onto the green, and parking very easy opposite. Melford Hall, Kentwell and the amazing Church are minutes walk. Thirteen minutes walk into Long Melford. Co-op is open till 10pm. Enjoyed our stay.
