Franciscos place is an absolute gem of a find. The location, the apartment, the neighborhood, the view and the local take away across the building was all perfect for us. Every room has a beach view which is so rare to find. not too many tourists so the area is nice and quiet with locals who are extremely welcoming and sweet.

What an amazing Flat by the beach! The flat was perfect, spotless clean and had everything we needed and much more ( bathroom robes, slippers, beach accessories and kids toys..). Andreia was extremely helpful and flexible from the beginning to the end of our stay, we felt like we are in *****spa hotel and very generous with all extra gifts we have received ( lovely welcome snacks and drinks, great selection of toiletries, gifts at the departure…) We loved the beach and large swimming pool, we had amazing time in Mindelo!

The view was beautiful. Loved waking up with a cup of coffee sitting on the little deck watching the boats and activity on the river. The location was perfect! Close to anything and everything you might need.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The host went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable and enjoyable. We arrived earlier than expected due to an early flight, and they were kind enough to let us check in ahead of time, which we truly appreciated. The apartment itself was beautifully maintained—clean, stylish, and well-equipped with everything we needed. One of the highlights was definitely the terrace; the views were breathtaking and provided the perfect spot to relax and take in the surroundings. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We enjoyed our stay here. The loft was spacious, very clean, and exactly as pictured. We thought the bed and pillows were super comfortable too and got good rest. It was a short walk to the river and most attractions.

Amazing host and a perfect apartment for our family's visit to Porto! Alexandra went above and beyond ensuring we had everything we needed for our baby. The breakfast and amenities were so thoughtful. The apartment was away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist hordes but easily walkable. Highly recommend Alexandra's apartment for anyone visiting this beautiful city!

Loved our stay at the Airbnb, it was very peaceful and quiet. Whenever, we went into the city, it was always refreshing to come back to serenity given the bustling nature of the city. The location is about a 16 mins ride to the center and 12 mins to the beach area (use bolt, it’s cheaper in Porto). Hugo was so accommodating and hospitable, we are so grateful as he made our trip better!. Upon arrival at the Airbnb, he had been waiting over 3 hours for us because there was a delay at security in the airport due to being short-staffed. He drove us to the super-market nearby, Continente, to buy groceries and gave us local recommendations one of which was Magina’s which was about a 10 mins walk from the Airbnb. We tried it and we quite liked it, mixed opinions on certain items, the steak burger was good. The Airbnb was clean, tidy and just as described with condiments. Each room had its own air-con, a plus for the bathrooms given how clean they were. Will highly recommend this Airbnb!

Spacious, comfortable house with beautiful outdoor space, very pleasant shaded terrace. Good location for visiting Porto and the Douro Valley. "Méandro" restaurant next door, cheap, excellent with splendid views of the Douro. Graça and her husband are welcoming and responsive. The only downside is the presence of barking dogs++ (kennel?). Graça has nothing to do with it, but noise nuisance to report.

The location is really fantastic, although you can't go to sleep before midnight on weekends when the weather is nice. The hustle and bustle on the promenade sometimes goes on until the early hours of the morning.

Maria greeted us and had cheese and cold beverages and a few other amenities in the fridge , we were able to get some great information she was very friendly and helpful . The views were fantastic exactly like the photo’s . Went to the Espinho market on Monday it was huge great deals and something for everyone was easy to get there . Plenty of walkways all along the ocean you can walk for miles . The train station is very close that you can take to Porto just FYI if you do take the train to Sao Bento Porto which is the downtown you have to change to Train 2 at the main station. This area is easy to get around and parking was close and free. Would love to come back to this area to explore some more .

The stay was great and we felt at home because nothing was missing. Communication has been quick and efficient and Jorge is very kind. The courtyard is beautiful and makes you feel like you're in the countryside. The house was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and there was hardly any noise. We rested wonderfully. To repeat.

Our stay in Herminio's apartment was great all around. We greatly appreciated the reliable communication with Mario, the sparkling clean apartment, the oasis-like, quiet yet central location and the two shower rooms. This saved us a lot of time in the morning. It was great that we were able to check in earlier on the day of arrival, so the first day was already completely available for us. The air conditioning in the rooms was also great - that was a real plus in high temperatures. We highly recommend staying in Herminio's apartment.

Verónica was an incredible host and her team at Victoria House made us feel so at home. The Airbnb was so comfortable and beautiful. The views of the city from the upstairs window were amazing! My friends and I were so happy with our stay. We loved being walking distance to the city center and able to access so many restaurants. Would definitely recommend this place.

Ricardo has been responsive since the original booking months ago. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable, apartment was quiet. He met us there to give the instructions in person and was quick to respond for any needs. This place is highly recommended!

Joana’s place exceeded all expectations for our large family with plenty of sleeping room, bathrooms, and places to relax. It also had everything we needed during our stay and couldn’t have asked for better communication from Joana! Thanks for a terrific place to stay during our first time in Porto!

We had a wonderful stay :) Sousa was lovely and welcoming, and the apartment was clean, modern, and comfortable. The location was perfect - super walkable and close to everywhere we wanted to explore. A sweet bonus was meeting a few friendly cats in the courtyard, which naturally, made everything even better. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

We spent 4 very pleasant days in the apartment, which is very well located in the center of Matosinhos and has all kinds of businesses nearby (also the beach!). It's great for a couple or a single person. And Fernando, the host, will give you all the information you need to enjoy your stay, and will be on hand to resolve any issues that will make your trip even more enjoyable. In short, a great experience!

We had a great stay in this apartment. Close enough to the city to be able to walk and explore all we wanted but equally a very quiet location. We walked in and out of the city each day and that meant that we discovered some gorgeous little streets that we may not have found otherwise. The apartment was just what we needed and exceptionally clean. Access was really easy and Nuno’s clear communication throughout our booking really helped make the stay smooth. Would recommend- great value for money!

...EVERYTHING IS EXCELLENT... We chose this accommodation based on the comments: ALL the reviews are positive. The apartment is currently under renovation and we have been given the one downstairs, which is similar but with a large terrace. The apartment is however new, comfortable and very clean. From May 22 to 29, with my wife and son, we stayed in this apartment equipped with every comfort, all the appliances in the kitchen and bathroom are new. All the bed and bath linens were available and perfect. Comfortable and large double bed In addition, the house has perfect and fast Wi-Fi and two new air conditioners. The accommodation is located near Campanha, in a quiet area and the condominium is very quiet. David was kind and helpful, answering our questions immediately. A stay to be repeated for sure... Highly recommended. Thank you for everything First time on Airbnb and everything was fantastic...I found David!!!

We loved it from the moment we walked in. It was exactly as it was described and my 15 year old daughter wanted to "stay forever" as soon as she saw it. Perfectly located and just plan fun inside and out. Christoph made it all easy, responded immediately, and made everything all around easy and fun. Highly recommend it.
