Family-friendly holiday rentals in Le Hohwald

We had a brilliant stay. The house was perfectly sized for our group of 4 adults and 1 child. The hot tub was huge and was really relaxing after a long day out visiting local towns and cities. The place was peaceful and relaxing and although in close proximity to the owners house, it felt private and non intrusive. The house is perfectly based for visits to the Black Forest and exploring Alsace which we have enjoyed. Very clean, air conditioning and beautiful surroundings. Would recommend and would stay again.

Gèrard is a very open and nice person. He explained everything to us and the house really knows everything you need. The kitchen is really fully equipped and the house was the cleanest house we have ever booked!! The location is quiet and yet you can quickly reach a bakery by car. This was not our last visit to Gérard. Thank you very much for the beautiful weekend in your beautiful cottage.

Our time in the accommodation in Alsace (May 23-27) was simply fantastic! As a nature-loving couple, we particularly appreciated the quiet, detached location with fantastic views and the spacious garden. The whirlpool and the fireplace were perfect after our hikes. The accommodation is lovingly furnished, even with streaming TV. We relaxed all around and are very happy to come back. Absolute recommendation!

We had a very nice time and we liked the apartment very much. The hot tub is a real highlight. Lydia is a very nice and accommodating hostess. The area is also great for walks and hikes.

We had a perfect stay with a group of 12 people. Victor explained everything in detail upon our arrival. The chalet is extremely beautiful with attention to detail. It has everything you need and offers a wonderful view. The whirlpool is the cherry on the cake. 100% recommendation!

Excellent welcome in a very good quality cottage, pleasant ptopre rt. Close to all the most beautiful villages. The proposed catering is on the same level as the hospitality. And the hot tub is just great. We double recommend

We had some wonderful serene and sunny days in Pierre and Katia's mountain cabin. Incredible flexible and friendly hosts and we felt right at home from the first second. Beautiful location and spacious cabin. We enjoyed the nearby hiking trail, the outdoor bath and daily cuddles with Snow (the dog) whom our own dog also found a friend in. Al fresco dining everyday. We had daily excursions to nearby Alsace attractions with advice from Pierre and the children are still talking about the welcome bowl with candy (and Snow of course! ;) Cabin is warmly recommended

We had a great time during our stay in Laurence's apartment. It is a beautiful picturesque. Everything is at walking distance! You can really enjoy good food in the village.

Very cozy and quiet home, while everything is still close. Very easy parking and with luggage to the house. Excellent environment where there is a lot to do. Highly recommended!

it's fantastic place. clean, very well equipped (we found even potty for our baby! and we forgott one from home, so it was a release really to find one in the cottage), peacefull, there is an option to do bonfire (I ate potetos baked in the fire first time since many years!) it's warm inside and comfortable on the terasse. my little ladies were very happy because of the swing in the garden. Really, very nice place. but what hit us the most was the view from the bedroom. of course there are houses around but in the night you can see only forest, sky and sourrounding hills. and hear silence. extraordinary.

Excellent location, secluded and quiet in beautiful surroundings in the Vosges. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and always available by phone. Thank you for the hospitality - we were able to unwind and enjoy nature!

Florent and Geneviève are exceptional hosts, in addition to being welcoming and warm they were very responsive and caring, we loved talking with them 🥰 The house is even more beautiful than the photos The place was magical in the middle of nature, a breathtaking view (you can admire the deer in the morning😍) Europa Park and Rulantica are 50 minutes away by car It's so relaxing to find this haven of peace after a busy day at Europa Park In short, it was an excellent stay ❤️

We were very well received and the house is very, very good. Large with space and quite well-equipped.

A little paradise awaits and our 2 kittens. We really enjoyed using the well-designed gazebo with the grill, as it rained in between. The pool is simply wonderful, as long as the weather is right. In the pasture, we like to watch the two horses, the fox and the stork with his cheeky companion, a crow. Pure cinema. If you want to go on vacation with kittens, it's simply recommended! They were very happy in the garden and made great discoveries.

Well arranged and very well maintained accommodation, ideal for a short or long stay. The owner welcomes you in a green setting. His advice was invaluable for our walks. Very well located in Wasselonne, which makes it easy to discover the major tourist sites of the region. And also to reach Strasbourg, even without a car. I would highly recommend it! 

Very nice little apartment with pool. Everything exactly as described. Unfortunately, the weather was too cold to go to the pool. Marie gave us a lot of great tips for things to do in the area. Since the accommodation was not rented for the following night, it offered us that we could also stay a little longer. Anytime very gladly again :)

We had a great stay. Being a group of 4 adults & 4 children, the apartment is very comfortable and functional. It is modern, clean and very well-equipped (including exotic spices & sauces :)). Hosts are very responsive, available and flexible. Perhaps the only small downside is the wifi coverage (a little difficult to pick up from the downstairs bedroom and kitchen)

An apartment like a house with a very nice garden/terrace and heated pool. Delicate attentions of drinks in the fridge, beautiful night spaces, everything you need in the kitchen and everything very clean. A very pleasant stay where we will certainly come back, thank you Valerie

We were warmly welcomed by Angele and Antoine who gave us good clear instructions on how to use all the facilities ensuring that if we had any questions or problems she was always available to us. The garden is beautiful and well kept with fruit and nut trees adding to the charm. It is very quiet, peaceful and the pool looked extremely inviting but just not warm enough for us yet. Easy access to the Alsace wine route and the villages on the route were very quant and interesting. This is a must do on any visit to the area. An extremely easy check in/out and would recommend this property to all.

Tastefully renovated farm, a rustic and green setting, we had a great weekend with our friends. The 2 small children enjoyed the swings and the slide, the dogs were able to play in the garden (there were barriers available to block direct access to the road, but beware, the garden is not fenced at the back). Access to this garden area is from outside the house, but we have passed a lot of things through the kitchen window, which is very convenient! The village is quiet, beautiful walks nearby. We had access to the family pool at Marie's house, 5-10 min walk. We found everything we needed in the house, which was clean and tidy when we arrived. Thank you for hosting us!

Everything was fine, we were 8 adults and were all able to have plenty of space, enjoy a good night's sleep and take advantage of the many nearby possibilities (Europapark with ferry a stone's throw away, high - Königsburg 30 minutes, good food restaurants in the surrounding places, delicious baguette 2 minutes away...)

Great place to relax and (re) discover the region. Frédéric and his wife are charming and very welcoming. Our regret is not having time to enjoy the spa...

We spent a wonderful few days in Russel’s tastefully renovated barn. The house is very cosy, we felt at home right away. There are two bedrooms with double beds, each with a bathroom, and a convertible bed in the living room for kids. Kitchen is well stocked and we even received a nice bottle of wine and milk from the host. It was pretty warm during our stay so the kids even enjoyed the pool! It’s a perfect place to rest before and after exploring the area, without being in the midst of the hustle and bustle of other more touristy villages, yet being close to everything.
