Monthly Rentals in Le Monteil-au-Vicomte

Wonderful stay in a beautiful and too little known region. The house is very beautiful (and cool even in the overwhelming heat), the bedding is super comfortable, the location is perfect 4 km walk from Lake Vaud Gelada and 15 km from Lake Vassivière, 4 km from the Rigole du Diable, kilometers of hiking around, dozens of cows, birds, roe deer, mustelids and other animals, the welcome is warm. Perfect!

What a wonderful place, what a haven of peace! No background noise, just the birds and the sounds of nature, back to a quiet hamlet well oriented towards the sun. Perfectly comfortable cottage according to my expectations, well insulated, no cold and even a good wood fire in snowy weather. Well located in relation to Lake Vassivière, and many other beautiful interesting places; a beautiful discovery of this corner of the Limousin. Nicole and Alexia were understanding, very easy to reach, responsive and helpful. Really nice! I'll be back tomorrow!

This was one of my favourite stays in France. The accommodation is rustic but for me it was perfect. The location was so peaceful (and close to some really interesting ancient sites) that I felt I could have stayed there longer. The cat is totally adorable... we became firm friends during my time there so much so that I woke to find her cuddled up next to me. Fully recommended - I will definitely stay here again!

Very nice accommodation. Spacious, a beautiful view and a charming garden. All in absolute calm. We'll be back with pleasure!
