I absolutely love this place. It was so beautiful so peaceful super easy to find. We did bring some stuff on our own, but she had everything there that you would need. We went down to deadwood Saturday night and it was a short drive which I loved overall this place absolutely perfect I would totally recommend staying here!!

Very clean and well kept cabin. Perfect for 4 people. If we travel back to the area we would definitely see if this cabin is available. The only thing is that it is quite the climb up a peak to get to it and that did take some getting used to driving up and down.

Had a great stay with family. There was enough room that everyone had their private space but enough gathering places that we could spend quality time together. The Wi-Fi was fast for the kids' online classes and my meetings. Overall, great memories were made! Perfect location to travel to the many nice places in the area.

Such a great space for a Black Hills getaway. The kids had a blast in the bunkhouse or as we called it, The Dormitory. Outdoor space was used daily, whether it was coffee on the back patio watching the birds or the kids enjoying the hot tub after a long day exploring. Would definitely visit again!

We really enjoyed our time at the BS Retreat. Martin was very proactive with his communication and it was very helpful. It is a beautiful cabin with lots of room!

We had a very good time staying here! The place was even more then advertised! The sitting area behind the house was very private and perfect for morning coffee and some late night drinks! Mary was nice and respectful as well as very clear with her instructions. This place is close enough to town to have access to dining and entertainment yet far enough away that it was very peaceful! We would definitely like to stay here again.

Lovely, idyllic house in gorgeous natural surroundings. Living area beautifully furnished. Vast yard with lots of seating options. The area is picturesque with a wealth of activities, we could have stayed much longer and enjoyed ourselves even more. I wished the sleeping arrangement had been on the same floor as the bathroom, but that was a minor inconvenience. Very well equipped kitchen. Overall, recommended!

Great spot - the outdoor spaces are amazing and it’s a great location in Rapid City. Lots of wildlife on the street (deer, chickens etc)

The property is absolutely beautiful—quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature with amazing views of the valley. It’s a great place to unwind. Plenty of room. But the home does need some TLC in places, which didn’t affect our stay. Also note: there’s no central AC just units, and some rooms got fairly warm. The host was responsive and flexible with us. One more heads-up: the driveway is long, narrow, and has no turnaround—so careful bringing in a trailer. Maps will take you one way so keep an eye out for the house number sign. All in all, it served our needs for a short stay, but a little maintenance and updating of things in the kitchen would go a long way.

Very peaceful setting, house was just perfect for our atv adventure week. Had everything that me and my husband needed. Dogs enjoyed the outdoors and we enjoyed watching the deer every morning and evening. The stars were also so beautiful at night with no light pollution. Highly recommended and will likely return!

We had a great stay at this property! The house was spotless, well-maintained, and tucked away in a peaceful wooded setting—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was proactive, providing clear and helpful directions that made check-in a breeze. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Megan was very responsive to questions, and texted me great instructions for check-in/check-out. The house was perfect for my large family (8 people), and we felt right at home after long days of sight-seeing. The house had all the amenities we could want or need. The neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet.

This is our second time staying here - it’s just as beautiful in the fall as it is in the winter. My dog and I had a great time exploring, sitting on the deck, observing the wildlife (daily visits from many deer, turkeys, etc). It’s very peaceful. The deck is our favorite place to hang. The addition of the recliner inside is so great - as is the new deck furniture. Truly a little slice of heaven. Will definitely be back again!

Jeania was an awesome host! We got in late the night we checked in but once we got there we had no problems what so ever. The place sits in a great location in a quiet area. The rooms were comfy and clean, the deck aaa a beautiful place to relax after the days activities and being able to park inside the garage was great since it rained almost every day! We would stay again for sure!

Don't hesitate - book it. This place is incredible & one of my favorite Airbnb stays of all-time. When they say "Off-Grid Luxury", they MEAN IT down to the detail. The tile in the bathroom, the beautiful fire places, the tools in the kitchen; everything feels elevated, purposeful, and just NICE. We were celebrating our 8-year anniversary and found it to be the perfect place for us two; we didn't leave for the entire weekend. We cooked every meal, sat by the fire and talked, laid in the sunroom and watched birds, and made fires at night to watch the stars. It's incredibly secluded and felt like we were in our own little world (in the best way!) Things to note: it is remote (which is WONDERFUL), but if there's snow, have a car with 4-wheel drive. Also, the closest grocery store is at least a 30-minute drive (I think), so bring food with you! It is SO worth it. I am already trying to plan the next time we can go back!!

It was a cute little cabin tucked away in the woods, I thoroughly enjoyed it! The first morning a flock of wild turkeys strolled by and the second a herd of white tail deer! It was cozy and felt like home, I would recommend it to anyone!!!

Marjorie is a fantastic host. Her communication and response to me were always timely. The space is one of the most well kept I have stayed in. It was spotless. comfortable, and had wonderful views. The rental is priced right. especially for the area on Terry Peek that it is located in, I would recommend this cabin to anyone who was looking to travel to the Deadwood, Spearfish, Sturgis area in the Black Hills. The host is definitely 5+ stars.

What a cute little spot! Michelle really makes an effort to think about everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay, from the perfect bundle of firewood to maps of surrounding sites. Accommodations were immaculate. Bathrooms were easily accessible and super clean. Larry was out every day with a big smile on his face, ready to assist with anything. We felt at ease leaving for adventures, knowing they’re right there on the property!

Loved the location. we drove from KY and brought our rzr to ride on trails so it was all easy access from the cabin. It didn't have a/c but we adapted pretty easy with advice from the owner. Very peaceful. Owner was very helpful and friendly. I recommend it to anyone who loves the Black Hills like we do! You're smack dab in the middle of those beautiful ponderosa pines. A+

This property was better than we imagined! It was perfect for our little family and had everything we needed. All the amenities were fantastic, especially the black stone! There is quite a bit of construction that does add quite a bit of time to the travel but definitely not the hosts fault this is more for a heads up! We will definitely be recommending this to anyone looking for a small outskirts place to stay!
