Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Leckwith, Cardiff

The house was beautifully decorated and spacious enough for the five of us to feel comfortable. Communication with Mike was fantastic right from the start, he was incredibly helpful and responsive. While there’s no parking directly outside, as most of the area is permit-only, it wasn’t an issue for us, we easily booked a spot on the next road through Park on My Drive for just £5 a day. We also really enjoyed making use of the lovely garden. Thank you again.

Had a wonderful stay at Janine’s place very cosy and homely. Very clean with a nice comfy bed and a good welcome hamper. We were staying for a wedding at St Fagans so the location was ideal and the local taxis service was brilliant. Highly recommend Janine’s place to stay.

Lovely house in a great location, close to the station and amenities. We made great use of the pool table and darts board while at the house between visits into Cardiff. Shane was very helpful and responsive too. Would recommend this as a base for anyone visiting Cardiff. Thanks again!

This was the perfect house for a really comfy stay during a weekend working away. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook each night, the beds were super comfy and the shower actually had water pressure so amazing! With 2 cars we did struggle to park as arrived late each day but it wouldn’t put me off I’d just maybe book a park on my drive thing close by.

Easily a very cosy stay, if you’re looking at doing a short term stay this is the perfect place! Beth was very accomodating and easy to communicate with, and the place was spotless and smelt incredible when we first walked in. We have no complaints whatsoever - it lived up to every expectation we had gathered from her description. With nearby transport, I cannot recommend Beth’s place enough if you find yourself in Wales

We booked a last minute stay in Cardiff Bay and had a nice couple of days here. Aaron and Jai kindly provided fans for us during the heatwave and a high chair and travel cot which were handy. It’s about 5-10 minute drive to the main hub area of the bay where the restaurants etc were (we hadn’t realised this when we booked, our fault for not researching fully!) but it ticked all the boxes in terms of a nice place to stay and good things to do with a young family nearby. Would definitely consider coming back. Thank you!

A great place to stay. short walk to the centre. We were a group of four friends and we had everything we needed. All the amenities are there and the beds were comfortable. Ben is quick to respond and the instructions are very clear. Free parking is an added bonus as can be expensive in Cardiff.

What I can find in the room is a beautiful bay view from the room, walkable to local shops and restaurants, plenty of parking spaces, good kitchen enough for simple cooking. This room is good for couple to stay.

Very nice place to stay, close to the centre and not too far from the City Rd which is the prime location for some great food. Brilliant location

Perfect spot for me travelling solo for a quick stay. Very easy to find, everything I needed, close enough to centre of town to meet friends, Rhys was great and very responsive.

it was a wonderful stay at the accomodation. Andrew was very helpful and responded quickly for any query. The flat was very cosy and is located very close to the city center. We recommended it to all those who are looking for a good accomodation.

Great location a short walk from the city centre. Everything we needed for our short stay. . Clean and comfortable and Lottie responded really quickly to all communications. Parking provided.

Very helpfull, good communication, great suggestions and most of all, a lovely house. The initial form filling and deposit providing on their own platform was kind of jarring and a bit of a hassle but I guess thats how they maintain it so well and it was well worth the state of the place. Would 100% recommend, dont let the form filling stop you!

Beautifully kept flat, very well decorated, and quiet. Had everything i needed for my 3 day stay. I had a problem at check in(key broke in lock) joleta responded to message in about 10 mins and was there 20 mins later with another set of keys. Excellent photos to show you how to find car park and key box. cardiff castle and centre are about 20 mins walk and there is a smaller high street 15 mins in the other direction with a tescos and some nice looking places to eat. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely apartment in Cardiff! The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location couldn’t have been better as you’re in walking distance to Cardiff bay and Cardiff centre! Tony was absolutely wonderful—friendly, incredibly responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. It made a real difference knowing we could reach out with any questions and get a prompt, kind response. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The Pad is a wonderful place to stay in a really nice area. The apartment is immaculate and has a beautifully curated art deco interior. The space has everything you need, Jane really has thought of everything. We felt relaxed in the space; the gorgeous views from the balcony and visits from Mr Hopkins were an added bonus. We both said that we had never stayed in an AirBnB that was so good before. Jane knew it was our anniversary and very thoughtfully added some special extras. We will definitely be back when we return to Cardiff! Cardiff centre is easily accessible by public transport, or on foot (about 30 mins). The local area has a great selection of shops and restaurants, as well as a lovely park.

Very cosy apartment in a great part of the city. Comfortable with all of the amenities needed for a short break. Louisa was a great host and communicated everything we needed to know.

This accommodation exceeded our expectations. Lovely quiet location perfect for our personal needs. It was spotlessly clean and the walk in shower with a seat was perfect as well. We could not fault anything about it. Thoughtful touches included biscuits, butter, jam and marmalade in the fridge and soap and shower gell in the bathroom. Simply excellent in every way. Lovely place to stay. Much larger than the pictures! Good location for going into the centre and a nice green space across the road.

Great accommodation which matched all description and photos, and facilities all in working order. Instructions clear so check in and out was smooth. Ideal location (5 min walk from town centre) would definitely stay here again!!
