We spent an unforgettable Thanksgiving weekend at Robert’s house. This house is more than just an accommodation, its a whole experience of slow countryside living at its best. The house is beautiful, filled with light and books. It is well lived in and has everything that you might need. We were happy to find the fully operational kitchen as we needed to cook the Thanksgiving dinner. Even though we brought a lot of cooking supplies with us, we could totally skip it - the kitchen has everything that you might need. The heating works well, we only needed to turn it on for couple hours in the evening. Robert was proactive and left us very detailed instructions. So if you hesitate whether you should book this place or not, let this review be a sign for you. Come stay at the Bell house and let your dream of a cottage in the woods cme true. This home was easy to find, a block away from rockport boat tour, a general store, restaurants. The home appears to be newly constructed and all materials are in new condition and very clean! It’s a wonderful area and place to stay! You won’t regret it!

We loved our stay at Dillon's house. It was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels. The hot tub added an extra special element to out stay and it was spacious and just lovely. Dillon even treated us to a voucher at a local pizza restaurant which was such a lovely touch and we had a brilliant time!

Our stay was exactly what we expected. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and the house met all of our expectations. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Braden’s place. The home was a perfect gateway for 2 people. Big plus for having plenty of firewood for the guests to use. The home was clean & had all the amenities for a great relaxing stay.

My partner and I had a great stay 😊 Beautiful home for those who are interested in stargazing and reconnecting with nature. The place was very home-y and clean! There was a guidebook by the table as soon as you enter to read through (same information as on Airbnb). The patio is nice and the stargazing spot is perfect. Kitchen is very clean and accessible. Big plus with the bathroom mirror with the lighting and heat :) Windows by the living room didn’t have curtains but! It’s very private otherwise. Neighbours are fairly far away. So no one can really see through the side windows unless they’re directly there.

We just spent 3 nights in Fern house and loved it. We felt right at home, very clean and well located to walk to restaurants and and main attractions. The house as old charm with updated amenities. Thank you Fern and Charlene we had a great time! Josée

We had a wonderful stay! The place was immaculately clean and had absolutely everything we could possibly need. From the little touches to the overall setup, it was clear that a lot of care went into making guests feel comfortable. The environment was incredibly quiet, perfect for relaxing and getting a good night’s sleep. Kurt and his wife have a wonderful little, unique getaway in Kingston. We only stayed one evening on our way to Montreal and Quebec, but Kurt made us feel welcome in every way with his constant communication before we arrived and his wonderful suggestions for what to do while we were in town. He even was kind enough to suggest places along our route as we departed. Our family will definitely look to stay with them again when we get back in Kingston for more than one day. Thank you for making our stay so smooth and being a wonderfully communicative host. You have a wonderful spot and we enjoyed our time there!

Absolutely nothing but good things to say about this listing. The area is convenient to everything, it’s so unique and eclectic and perfect for a getaway. 100% will stay again.

Really well equipped with a complete kitchen, and even had toiletries. The bed is very comfortable, with lots of room in the bedroom, the living room has an expansive and comfy sectional and a huge smart TV, and the bathroom is clean and has everything you could need. Be aware that this building is not on municipal water so the hot water had a bit of a sulphurous odour and is very soft - not an issue, just come ready to scrub to get the soap off. The dedicated parking spot in front has an outlet available, which was super handy to top up our EV overnight. Definitely recommend staying here if you want to be near Calabogie.

This stay was simply perfect! I could ramble on but believe the hype, the space is wonderful and Sylvia was a fantastic host. Amazing value, couldn’t have asked for a better experience :)
