There is a car road all the way up to the cabin throughout the year, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for trips in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter, there is a cross-country ski trail just behind the cabin, and you can take on alpine skiing just outside the cabin door and run to the alpine resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

You will stay in Øverstuggu, one of about 50 buildings in the historical Kvarberg farm. Enjoy a weekend or holiday at Lemonsjøen in a cozy apartment for family or friends. It has three bedrooms with double beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a sauna and a private terrace. Bed linen/towels and final cleaning can be ordered to make your stay easier. TV and Wi‑Fi are included, and cleaning supplies are available. The apartment must be cleaned unless final cleaning is ordered.

New cabin, completed in Sept 2023, is rented out. Lemonsjøen is called the gateway to Jotunheimen. Here there are opportunities for those who like mountains and nature. Cross-country ski trails are just outside the door, and a short drive to the alpine slope. Quiet and peaceful area, with lots of wildlife right outside the cabin wall. NB: Pets are not allowed due to allergies.
