A lovely house 20 mins walk from the centre of La Rochelle

An excellent weekend spent in this beautiful accommodation. Matches the photos and descriptions, even beyond expectations, it seemed bigger than in the photos, very positive. Clean place where we felt at home: cozy, cocooning and warm. A beautiful exterior for breakfast and other meals outside. A big thank you to Audrey for her exchanges and availability. I recommend it! ✨

L'Escale Rochelaise is a beautiful spot in a beautiful town. The secluded garden was a highlight for us, with plenty of shade, impressive agapanthus and hydrangeas and we were lucky enough to enjoy free fruit from the mirabelle tree! Rooms are huge and wonderfully furnished, everything worked perfectly, and the kitchen was really well equipped and stocked which made catering for a large group easy. The daily market was a short walk away, and Vanessa gave plenty of recommendations for places to eat and buy croissants etc. We enjoyed walking through the park to the beach most days, an easy bus trip to L'Ile de Re and shopping in St Nicolas. Vanessa was a responsive and thoughtful host. Thank you!

We had a great time in Vincent's house: very pleasant setting facing the sea, with private access to the beach below the garden! The host can't be more responsive, I recommend it without a second thought!

Central and practical, this apartment was perfect for our needs during our stay in La Rochelle. Quality double glazing means you won't be disturbed by people (only pedestrians) passing by in the street. Access to the center and the port is just a few steps away.

Amazing apartment on the port front in La Rochelle, with great views and in the centre of this very walkable town. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Apartment was clean and tidy with everything you need, including for travelling with a baby. Highly recommended!

Very pleasant stay in Sylvie's apartment, ideal location close to the old port, aquarium and many restaurants, the apartment is large and very clean, the parking is a big asset we were able to enjoy La Rochelle on foot, the Hotel for the delivery of the keys is perfect, and Sylvie is very considerate, call before arrival, advice, etc. A safe bet in La Rochelle. We'll be back at Sylvie's!
