Single Room to let in Clean House

Single room available to rent in a cosy, friendly and clean house in Leyton, East London. Location The house is in a quiet, residential area ideally located for visiting all parts of London and beyond. It is 5 minutes walk to Leyton tube station which is on the Central line with easy, direct access to Central London. 2 minutes to Stratford, the Olympic Park & Westfield shopping Centre, 10 minutes to the City and 20 minutes to the West End. 2 minutes walk to local bus services including night buses on Leyton High Road. Good links to all London airports including Stansted, London City, Heathrow & Gatwick and all major London Train stations are easily accessible by tube. Also excellent road links serving all parts of the UK. Local Amenities The local area has a variety of good restaurants, friendly pubs, supermarkets and shopping facilities. There are good local sports facilities in the area, these include a swimming pool, tennis courts, gym, golf range, ice skating and horse riding centre. There is a local park 2 minutes walk away and Epping Forest is close by. Accommodation The private room which is situated upstairs at the back of the house is light, airy and nicely decorated. It is fully carpeted, the furniture is in good condition and consists of a single bed, wardrobe, drawers and dressing table. Fresh towels and Bed linen are provided and changed on a weekly basis or when required. All other facilities are communal and available for guests to use. (The maximum number of people staying in the house at any one time is four including myself.) These include: Bathroom - on the same floor as the private room; it is fully tiled, with hand basin, toilet, bath and shower. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor of the house. Kitchen – This is on the ground floor and has a hob, oven, grill, and microwave and there is a breakfast bar to sit at if required. There is a washer/dryer also available for use. All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided for guests to use and there is ample cupboard and fridge space available. Living and Dining area – Also on the ground floor it is comfortably furnished with wooden flooring. There are 2 leather sofas, dining table and chairs, desk space, computer and wi fi access if you need it. There is a 46" HD TV, all Sky and cable channels available, TiVo box, DVD, blu-ray player and radio/CD player. There is also a small back garden and on-street parking is available on request. Other Info English breakfast, packed lunches and supper can be provided at a small extra charge. Continental Breakfast, tea, coffee and soft drinks are included in the price. There is also a twin bedded room available for rent in the same house so ideal for a family of 3 or 3 friends sharing who want to spend time in London in good quality accommodation at a reasonable rate. Our beautiful en-suite double room is located on the ground floor of a three-storey house; providing you with total privacy and your own space. My place is situated in a peaceful area just outside of Zone 1 (with the River Thames on your doorstep) 15 min walk/5 min bus to Canada Water Tube Station. It's very easy to get to central London: London Bridge, Waterloo and Bond Street can all be reached within 15 mins directly on the Jubilee line. Ideal for business travel, one stop to Canary Wharf.

Spacious, interesting 2 story house east Ldn

This is a hidden haven - a quiet, two story apartment hidden at the back of a Victorian house in East London - really close to top locations: Victoria Park, Hackney Wick, Ldn Fields and Broadway Market - and only 15 mins to oxford street central on the tube. I live in the house when I don't have guests - and everyone comments what a unique and welcoming space it is! The bedroom shown is only for guests and totally private. The space is also really quiet with two private outdoor spaces.

You have the first two floors of our town house.

We’d love to welcome you to stay in our beautiful house in London’s vibrant East End, a 5 minute walk from the Underground, giving access to all of the main tourist sites. You have sole use of the lower two floors of our townhouse. A large bedroom and spacious en-suite bathroom are on one level and a gorgeous kitchen and dining area which has a wonderfully welcoming feeling takes up the whole of the lower level. The super-king sized bed can be made up as two singles if required.

The lounge area features a black leather sofa, a small dining table with chairs, and a TV on a modern stand. A large window allows natural light to illuminate the space, which includes built-in bookshelves filled with books. The floor is covered with a striped rug.

Quiet 1 bed self-contained house in East London

This is my self-contained one bedroom house with a small garden. There's room for up to 5 people with the sofa beds in the lounge. The house is 5 mins from Mile End station (zone 2) with excellent fast transport links to the City and West End. I work in London during the week, and this is my home. I'm generally not around at weekends, so I've made the space available to the community to meet some new people and help keep the place secure while I'm not around.
