We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

Ein echter Geheimtipp für alle, die Ruhe, Natur und Privatsphäre suchen. Die Unterkunft liegt idyllisch gelegen, umgeben von vielen Olivenbäumen und Bergen– perfekt zum Abschalten. Besonders gefallen haben uns der wunderschöne Pool, der gepflegte Tennisplatz und die erfrischende Außendusche – ein echtes Highlight nach einem heißen Tag in der Sonne. Alles war sehr sauber und liebevoll gestaltet. Magdalena war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns alle aufkommenden Fragen schnell beantwortet. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Eine Taverne, eine Tankstelle und eine kleine Bäckerei sind innerhalb von 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Da es allerdings keinen Bürgersteig gibt, ist ein Auto auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! Zum nächsten Strand, nach Heraklion und zum Flughafen sind es mit dem Auto ca. 15 Minuten.

We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

The villa is clean, well stocked, and spacious. Simos was incredibly responsive and great to communicate with. The area is lovely, with a few excellent restaurants in walking distance, wineries and olive farms really close, and Knossos Palace also a short drive away. It’s a great place to unwind and the proximity to the Heraklion airport is also a bonus if you’re flying off the island.

We stayed at Villa Elena for a week. ( Family of five / three children age 8,11 and 14. The Villa was lovely - nicer than the photos. We loved the pool - great size, a bit bigger and deeper than expected. The view was was amazing, i miss it already. Beaches, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Everyone was so friendly. George was a brilliant host - very responsive and kind He spent time giving great recommendations which was very helpful. We loved our time in crete and would definitely recommend booking here.

Le logement était impeccable, propre et bien rangé. Pamela nous a accueillie pour notre court séjour à Heraklion. Nous y étions bien installés, à une quinzaine de minutes en voiture du centre de la ville et à 10min de l’aéroport ce qui a facilité l’organisation de notre fin de séjour.

Et lille godt byhus i en skøn by. I løbet af dagen kommer turisterne til byen, men om aftenen er det primært de lokale man møder, når man går ud og spiser eller får en kop kaffe. Der er mange spændende ting at se på Østkreta, så dagen gik hurtigt. Huset var rigtig fint og meget rent. Udsigten fra altanen fra enestående. Der var stillet en velkomstkurv frem, så man følte sig meget velkommen. Værterne var søde at skrive når der var noget relevant (eksempelvis at vi skulle passe på i trafikken da der både var lidt regn og vejarbejde fra lufthavnen👍).

Irini est une propriétaire chaleureuse et à l'écoute de ses hôtes. À travers toutes ses petites attentions, sa flexibilité et sa bonne humeur on ne peut que se sentir comme à la maison ! L'environnement est apaisant, l'appartement conforme aux photos et le jacuzzi un vrai plus ! Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine à cause du temps mais le cadre est agréable, elle est à partager avec la famille d'Irini qui est aussi sympathique qu'elle. Vous aurez de temps en temps la visite de son chat et au loin du chien. Je ne peux que recommander en espérant revenir un jour et y découvrir l'évolution du site🥰. Merci pour tout !

We were perfectly happy here, everything was as described, the hosts were super friendly and helpful, the house is perfectly equipped (we made heavy use of the sandwich toaster), there is more then enough room. The surroundings are perfect as well, it's quiet, and the beach is very near, there are also some nice restaurants there. Plus there is a bus to Heraklion that goes every half hour. There is really nothing to complain about, we felt immediately welcome, and had a great time.

I stayed with my wife and in-laws for three nights. The home was spacious and we enjoyed having the extra room. Thomais left us some treats in the fridge. A great home base. Note the beds are the firm side. The main living area has Air Conditioning but the upstairs bedrooms did not.

My wife and I toured the Villa in the listing, and it was absolutely gorgeous, but we stayed at the single story Villa below and our review will reflect our experience there. One thing worth noting about the listed Villa is that it is two stories, both beautifully appointed. Our single story Villa, a part of the same complex, was beautiful, peaceful, and restful. The Villa was impeccably clean, the space spacious and airy, completely modern and luxurious but without pretense. I could live there year round and count myself fortunate. The location is fifteen or twenty minutes from a number of popular beaches, yet in the countryside far from the noise, clutter, and confusion of the city. The town has everything you need and nothing you don’t. If anything could be better than the villa it’s the host, Manos. Manos is the most friendly and generous host imaginable; a gentleman and beautiful person in every sense. If I have any regrets about the villa it’s that I didn’t book it for longer.

Es war alles perfekt!! Die Wohnung ist grösser als sie auf den Bildern aussieht. Alles ist sehr, sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts! Die Balkone sind super, ich habe es genossen auf der Liege in der Sonne zu liegen und in die Bäume zu schauen. Niemand kann auf den Balkon am Schlafzimmer rauf schauen, man hat hier wirklich seine Ruhe. Nur wenige Gehminuten und schon ist man in der lebendigen Altstadt. Trotzdem hat man hier seine Ruhe. Ich konnte gut schlafen und das Bett war sehr bequem. Man hat hier alles, was man benötigt und ich habe mich sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr angenehm und herzlich. Ich liebe Kreta und besonders Malia und kann auch diese Unterkunft ohne Einschränkung weiter empfehlen. Zudem gibt es einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Preis und Leistung ist ausgezeichnet!! Wunderschöne, gepflegte Anlage, direkt am Meer gelegen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und großzügig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Un séjour juste exceptionnel un logement au top du top. Plus que parfait tout était parfaitement propre et rangé. De nombreux équipements machine à laver avec lessive, lave vaisselle, étendoir. Frigo avec des collations. Une vue juste exceptionnelle. Giorgos a été très réactif dès que nous en avions besoin. Proximité de tout restaurant, de la mer. Giorgos est très arrangeant. On vous recommande à 200%. Merci pour ce séjour inoubliable.

Lia was so helpful and amazing during our stay. Fast responses when asked questions, she provided us with not only comfort but made us feel like we are at home. We didn’t have a car so lia was kind enough to help us in every way possible. Lia was the best hostess we could have asked for and we are so grateful for her. Definitely the best place we have ever booked and we will definitely be recommending this to others and we will come back for sure!

Linda's daughter Sorcha greeted us from start to finish and was a fantastic host. Aside from the fact that the property was as advertised in every way, some of the best parts of our trip came from her recommendations. Stelios is a great host. He is very friendly, easy to reach and responds quickly. He checked in several times throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed - very attentive :) Stelios was also flexible with the checkout. All in all, we would highly recommend Stelios as a host. We would stay again!

Die Unterkunft war super schön eingerichtet und es war alles sa was man braucht und noch viel mehr. Alles war sehr sauber und ruhig. Miltaos Beach ist einfach ein super Ort zum Entspannen und Erholen. Man kann nett spazieren gehen oder in der Sonne liegen oder in eine der 6 Tavernen (alle mit super leckerem und günstigem Essen) einkehren. Wir war sehr zufrieden und kommen gern wieder.

Wir waren 14 Tage in dieser Unterkunft und als erstes muss ich die gastfreundliche Art von Manos hervorheben. Die Unterkunft befindet sich an einem ruhigen Ort absolut richtig zum entspannen und erholen. Wir selber waren mit einem Mietauto unterwegs um etwas von der Insel zu sehen viele tolle Orte sind in kurzer Zeit mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft so wie Lage sind absolut weiterzuempfehlen. Vielen Dank nochmals an Manos wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub.

Υπέροχος χώρος φτιαγμένος με πολυ αγάπη.Το σπίτι πεντακάθαρο και πολύ όμοφο. Η επικοινωνία με την Εμμανουέλα ήταν άψογη. Στο σπίτι υπήρχε κρασί, χυμός , σπίτικά κουλουράκια, φρούτα & διάφορα λαχανικά από τον υπέροχο κήπο του σπιτιού. Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ για όλα.

Wir waren 6 Tage in Amandas schönem Haus. Alles war blitzsauber. Die Küche groß, mit allem was man braucht. Wir haben das Haus nicht gleich gefunden, es liegt etwas versteckt. Amanda kam gleich und hat uns dort hingebracht. Die obere Terrasse ist groß und sehr gemütlich für das Frühstück und abends zum Ausklingen des Tages. 2 Tavernen sind zu Fuß schnell erreichbar. Man kann dort gut und supergünstig essen. Was uns besonders an Limnes gefallen hat, waren die Bewohner. Sie waren alle superfreundlich und total hilfsbereit. Wir waren mit unserem kleinen Hund dort. Leider sind Hunde im Norden Kretas an den Stränden (z.B Elounda) nicht erwünscht. Deshalb werden wir weiterhin wieder in den Süden gehen, wo wir seit 20 Jahren unsere Urlaube verbringen. Leur réactivité, leur flexibilité pour notre arrivée et notre départ et les nombreux conseils et recommandations nous ont permis de profiter pleinement de la Crète. Logement propre et très agréable, avec l’essentiel à disposition. Localisation très pratique pour visiter et découvrir de nouveaux lieux. Seul bémol : le bruit des avions et de l’autoroute, un environnement assez bruyant pour la nuit. Merci encore !
