Holiday rentals with breakfast in L'Isle-d'Espagnac

We truly *loved* staying in Sylvie and Denis's place, they really went the extra mile to make us feel at home! From delicious breakfasts filled with homemade jam and bread, to helping us with local travel and even dropping us off at the station, we really appreciated their hospitality and generosity they afforded us when staying in this town for the first time! Their home is lovely, clean and full of charm (especially Gribouille! 🐱) and is right next to a bus stop into the town centre. We came for the festival and loved the town, there's a lot to do and see during the festivities, it's a very creative place! Sylvie's place made it even more memorable and we hope we can stay again next year. 💛

Les propriétaires sont charmants, accueillants et disponibles. La maison est conforme aux informations de l'annonce. Elle offre l'occasion de dormir dans une maison bâtie il y a plus de 700 ans. Ce n'est pas rien ! Le jardin est clos et on peut laisser un chien sans risque qu'il ne s'échappe. L'environnement est paisible et donc reposant et constitue une bonne base pour découvrir la région.

Emmanuelle’s home is lovely and extremely clean not far and within walking distance to angouleme’s city centre the house is spread over three floors and has a lovely terrace area to unwind after a long day sight seeing ... we would love to return maybe next year

Absolutely spot-on and extremely convenient as it is only a few minutes drive to a very well known Estate agent HQ (I was there for their training) Hosts are very friendly and they provided a lovely traditional continental breakfast each morning. On the last day was I even offered half-dozen free range eggs from the 'guard' chickens roaming the large garden! If you are looking for nature and very quiet French rural countryside, look no further! Big thankyou to Danielle and her husband.

superbe appartement, décoré avec goût. Nous y avons passé un très bon moment, c'etait calme tout en etant assez proche du centre. Il y avait tout ce qui fallait et Lou est une très bon hôte, pas avide de conseil, souriante et flexible. Nous reviendons avec plaisir

Annick and Patrick are amazing hosts? They are helpful and friendly and speak several languages. When we stayed with them they took us and several of the other guests to an outdoor food festival, which was great and then after that we walked around the lake and saw a live band and had plenty of singing and dancing. They are very knowledgeable about their home country and eager to impart their knowledge. You cannot go wrong staying at Tartou with this couple and the fabulous views over the countryside.

Geneviève est très gentille et attentionnée. Elle a été très discrète pendant tout le séjour et de très bon conseil. Nous recommandons ce petit coin de paradis au milieu des vignes de PINEAU et COGNAC, avec un silence sous le bruits des chants d'oiseaux au réveil le matin. We booked the gite as a bolt hole while we visited friends locally but we totally struck gold. Nikki and Sean were fantastic hosts and the gite, although it was about 30 degrees outside, was lovely and cool. We napped and read our books in the lovely garden, had a beer in the hot tub and also booked Nikki for massages. Breakfast was lovely and just a shame we made plans for our stay so didn’t eat evening meal there. Would highly recommend. Fantastic stay.

This is my second time staying at Nathalie’s house and everything is just like last year and can’t wait to see her again next year.

Beautiful garden and pool area with exotic plants and cosy shared lounge which was unique and well designed. Thierry was very friendly and extremely hospitable. The breakfast was delicious, especially the selection of jams and marmalade made by Florence. The bedroom was comfortable with a spacious bathroom including a bath. Highly recommended and we would definitely go back .

Amazing people, amazingly peaceful place and amazing food. We had a beautiful 3 nights with Magali and Fabian and their cuddly dog Tess. We were treated like family and loved the whole experience. Magali is a great cook and we ate on the peaceful terrace every night. The accommodation has a beautifully rustic but quality feel and it feels special. The pool is a delight and we had all we needed, we just had to ask. Merci Magali and Fabian x

Jonathan and Samantha were the perfect hosts and made us feel right at home. Their warm and welcoming home is tastefully renovated and set up and the landscape is peaceful and quiet. They gave us helpful tipps about restaurants and things to explore in the area. Also breakfast was outstanding and lovely presented. Happy we found this beautiful gem and would always recommend it. Corinne est une hôte charmante qui fait tout pour vous rendre votre séjour agréable. Sa maison est très agréable et très propre. L accessibilité au festival d Angoulême est vraiment un plus (7 min en voiture). merci

On est arrivées et reparties sous la pluie mais l'accueil et le logement dans un esprit de brocante élégante, avec de vastes chambres sobres mais chaleureuses et arty, nous ont bien réchauffées. Marie est une femme discrète et surprenante, maestra des confitures et compotes maison, amoureuse des chats et du beau.
