Relax with the family at this peaceful snug, 10min from Stansted A King Size Bed awaits (+ a small double and Z-Bed) with USB ports and built in electric toothbrush chargers. Tea & coffee, small fridge with light refreshments and beautiful country walks and pubs on hand For a fee, we can arrange airport transfers, clean the car, charge the EV and keep your prize and joy (the car, not the kids) at ours post check out We can host up to 3 adults (King bed & Small double)+ 1 child (single z-bed)

The Gate Cottage. Cosy, countryside, near Stansted

The Gate Cottage sits within the curtilage of Clarance House, a beautiful 18th Century, Grade 1, Queen Anne house in the centre of Thaxted. Guests will have access via the gates of Clarance House where they will find their own hidden entrance. The Gate Cottage has recently been renovated and consists of a cosy lounge and kitchen on the top floor overlooking the beautiful Thaxted Church. On the ground floor is a plush bedroom with King size 4 poster bed and a shower room/WC just across the hall.

Dynes Cottage at Finchingfield Holiday Cottages

A large thatched cottage dating back 400 yrs, Dynes Cottage is set in a complex of 3 houses & surrounded by beautiful countryside. With a private outdoor courtyard & a beautiful orchard, you can relax with the whole family. Sleeps 10. The cottage is just 1/2 a mile from Finchingfield, one of the prettiest villages in the country, with great pubs & tea rooms. The cottage is hosted by Catherine who lives on site. Acorn Cottage (4 bed) can be rented in conjunction with Dynes cottage.

Situated on the edge of beautiful Finchingfield & surrounded by fields, The Round House is the perfect getaway for cozying up or getting out & about in the gorgeous countryside. With beams galore, a central stacked fireplace with log burner, a compact galley kitchen & dining area. Upstairs is a double bedroom & stunning bathroom. Outside the house is surrounded by garden with amazing views over stunning countryside.

In a quiet location within the heart of the village. Please note there are two steps to reach the second bedroom

Perfect for exploring the Suffolk countryside, quiet working space, or a weekend break. Dogs welcome on request.
