Monthly Rentals in Loch Nan Uamh

This was a lovely little cottage. Very peaceful location. Host friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Very clean, pretty and nicely presented property with log burner and underfloor heating. Well thought out and good use of space as it is quite wee! We actually really enjoyed not having a TV and sitting reading our books by the fire. We would have preferred a microwave rather than an air fryer. The area is beautiful with lots to explore very locally as well as further afield. Great for sea kayaking and cycling.

House was spotlessly clean with lots of little touches. Ideally located for the silver sand beaches of Morar, the Glenfinnan railway and the ferry to sky.

I planned a peaceful and restorative short break and I wasn't disappointed. Stan checked in on me in a non invasive way soon after I arrived, to ensure all was okay. The flat was exactly as described, very clean, quiet and with peaceful surroundings. I was gifted wonderful weather, contrary to the forecast, and thanks to his recommendation I spent a wonderful day walking and reading at nearby Silver Sands beach. The flat is immaculate and has everything you need for a self catering break. I had cause to contact him for information and he replied within 10 minutes. Co-host Lilian took time to introduce herself and say hello when I ran into her prior to departure. A folder with local info, netflix subscription and thoughtful arrival gifts were all appreciated. Returning for a longer stay will definitely be on my to do list. A beautiful part of the world and excellent hosts. Thank you.

The Shepard's hut is compact but has everything you need. We didn't use the stove because we were warm enough without it. The views are tremendous and there is an enjoyable walk through the lodge grounds to the pier. Getting picked up from the pier and having our luggage taken back was fantastic. It was a bit exciting for someone who is not keen on cows to go to the loo and find cows blocking the way. However they are calm cows and are moved away easily (they were moved to the hill for summer grazing while we were there). All in all we had a great time.
