Farmstay holiday rentals in Loir

We booked a stay during the motorcycle GP. We had very offbeat schedules, but the host prepared everything and adapted so that we could arrive at any time. The space was spotless and very comfortable. We were able to spend a good night quietly after the madness of the circuit. Breakfast was always ready and available from the old age so that we could be self-sufficient. The products were great. We had a great time, thank you so much! We recommend ++

Beautiful country accommodation near Vendôme, Amboise and Blois. The highlight of the accommodation is the large spaces, perfect for accommodating a large family. The kitchen is one of the largest and best equipped I've had on Airbnb. The outdoor space is very beautiful, with barbecue, pond and outdoor furniture. The bedding could be improved (a little soft for our taste). The stairs to access the 2nd floor also because the steps are very narrow and therefore not suitable for young children.

Booked for a family weekend away, Accommodation meets our expectations. Very well equipped and ideal for a stay of 20 people. Everyone is there for both children and adults: swimming pool, billiards, ping pong, petanque court etc... moreover our host was very responsive following the breakdown of the dishwasher, he was immediately replaced. A place to recommend 👍🏻👍🏻

We had a great stay in this beautiful old mill. The place is very peaceful and superb. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Large swimming pool to relax after a bike ride along the Loire. Excellent welcome from Frédéric. We recommend this place.

We stayed here for a week with a group of 12 and found the home to be perfectly sized. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out if wanted and still enough spaces for us all to come together. The grounds and area in general are stunning and very peaceful. You absolutely need a car to get around to anything. The nearest towns are small and charming and Tours is only about 40min away. It's important to note the second floor has 2 showers, so the bedrooms with the single beds (pink and green) must share with the turquoise room, or walk through the blue room to use theirs. The water is hot but the top floor has low pressure if anyone else is showering. The house and furnishings show their age but it's very comfortable and charming. All of Pierre's recommendations were lovely - we did the carriage ride and hired a private chef (Morgan) both with great success. I would definitely recommend the stay again it was such a relaxing week and a great hub to all the Loire chateaux.

A paradise! Wonderful terrace on the edge of the forest, where we ate meals. A beautiful well-maintained pool invited you to swim. Jasmine scent and flowering perennials as well as a vegetable garden are on the property. Evelyn and Pierre were warm and always approachable hosts. Horses, dogs and chickens keep company on the old Rosen über säten estate. Would love to come again.

This little spot of heaven was so beautiful and quiet we couldn’t help but relax. Our hosts were lovely, very helpful and flexible. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed and more. We can’t recommend it enough. Thank you for a magical stay.

Very nice little chalet in the middle of nature and by the water. Villandry Castle 5 minutes away. Unfortunately the weather was not ideal but the small terrace area is very nice.

Absolutely amazing little find in a quiet farming area. Cottage was perfect, good bedrooms, working kitchen and lovely power-full hot shower . Fredrick and the dog pic, couldn’t have been more charming assisting with local food recommendations, showing us the farm and providing some scrumptious goodies out the fruit garden . He was a pure delight and really made our stay. Thank you we would love to return !

What a beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. We had such a wonderful time staying here. Edward, our host, was very welcoming of us and our four dogs. The gite was perfect, had everything we needed and was clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful, we could cook, BBQ, eat indoors or enjoy eating outdoors. Edward had even provided some wine, cheese, butter, milk, bread, jam, juice, shower gel, shampoo etc. in fact everything to get us started and more. There were plenty of good quality towels to use too and we used the sofa bed in the living area for one night for a family member and the sheets were all provided and it was comfortable. The grounds are amazing and it is so peaceful. The perfect place to relax and unwind. I cannot recommend this place enough and if Edward will host us again then we will be back!

We stayed with Julie, Simon and Carol for 2 weeks. We loved the location it is stunning, the area is very peaceful surrounded by fields full of sunflowers. Julie is a great host and made us feel very welcome and allowed us to do our own thing. The pool was amazing, the house was very comfortable and cosy and had everything you could possibly need. We took Monty our Springer Spaniel and he absolutely loved the location, he had so much space to roam free plus a close by watering hole to cool down in the heat, as well as enjoying the company of Julie’s two dogs, Martha and Nancy. The private garden with BBQ was great and we spent many nights watching the sunset across the fields. We wanted 2 weeks of complete relaxation and this is what we got. Supermarket is very local with lots to see and do all on your doorstep! A lovely holiday had by all! Monty definitely gave it the thumbs up! You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay. We had a beautiful stay at Sophie’s peaceful country retreat home. The surroundings could not have been better! The little house is well appointed and so beautifully curated. Sophie is an amazing host and was there to greet us at the gate. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

Barn transformed into a new house. Special mention for the ground floor (kitchen, dining room, living room): very high ceiling and strong brightness thanks to the large glass roof. Absolute calm with sometimes in the morning the brief visit of wild animals: hare, doe. Very friendly welcome, availability.

Our stay at Isabelle’s place was absolutely unforgettable! Isabelle was beyond amazing as a host – warm, welcoming, and so thoughtful. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The location itself was stunning – beautifully peaceful and incredibly relaxing. While it’s remote and there aren’t shops or restaurants nearby, that added to the charm and tranquility. It felt like we had our own private sanctuary. The property is a dream, with so many thoughtfully placed little areas to relax, unwind, and just enjoy the surroundings. Whether it was sitting with a book or just soaking in the views, each spot felt special. And the house itself – wow! It’s stocked with everything we could need, and honestly, it looks like something straight out of a high-end design magazine. Every detail is beautifully curated, with a stylish, welcoming vibe that feels effortlessly sophisticated. I can’t recommend Isabelle’s place enough for someone looking for paradise. 😍

A wonderful family weekend in this fabulous place! There's nothing missing! The cottage is superb, the environment is perfect. We were lucky enough to have great sunshine, which allowed us to fully enjoy the pool and garden. Close to places of interest. We had a great weekend of family climbing in your beautiful house. The setting is peaceful, bucolic, and rejuvenating. Lots of activities for children are available: soccer cages, scooters, carriers, foosball, ping-pong, billiards, etc. both the little ones and the older ones had a great time. And the older ones loved fishing in the pond. The house has large volumes, it is very beautiful, well renovated, very well equipped, tastefully decorated, ideal for reunions with family or friends. In short, a flawless one. Everything was perfect. We will keep many good memories of this wonderful weekend and will return with great pleasure.
