Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lorain County

Great place, beautiful home as described. Neighborhood is a little rough but other than that it was great!

The house is terrific and great location to various attractions and restaurants. The kitchen is fully stocked (pots, dishes, spices, etc) which was great when we had a couple of dinners at home. The house is spacious. My husband and I had our own spots to read the paper in the morning. The neighborhood is quiet and very walkable. I would definitely recommend this house and Michele.

The house was great. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time outdoors, we were all comfortable to relax in the evening, and to rest at night. We would definitely look up this location again in the future!

We stayed at Lorrie's house for the weekend of our child's graduation from Oberlin College. Lorrie was so responsive and flexible when I asked for an earlier check-in and whether we could host a small gathering of our college student's friends one evening. The house was perfect for the 7 adults we had in our party and could have easily accommodated more! There are many indoor spaces for mingling and relaxing, the kitchen is very well appointed and the bedrooms are so comfortable. Our weather was divine, so we were really able to utilize and enjoy the amazing backyard with it's wonderful seating areas and awesome Lake Erie vista. We had a meal outside and enjoyed s'mores around the fire pit. There were many extra chairs and tables conveniently located in the garage for our outdoor fun. We made many trips to and from Oberlin, but the house set up made us feel like we were really on vacation. Thank you for your hospitality Lorrie and we would highly recommend a stay in your lovely home!

We had a great stay at the house to visit our daughter for Easter. The property was perfect for hosting our daughter and her friends from college; plenty of outdoor space for a cookout, a warm and cozy interior to help the college kids feel "at home", and comfortable accommodations for us all who stayed at the house. The yard is large with a fenced-in area for our dog, who LOVED it! Please keep in mind if there is rain, the yard can be a bit soggy, but that is to be expected and didn't deter us at all. The grill and other kitchen/cooking amenities were great, and Marcia left a TON of snacks and breakfast food for the house. The whole vibe of the place is authentically "farmhouse", which we loved. We did not use any televisions. etc, but we did see a few, so "modern conveniences" are there. We will surely consider renting again for future trips and highly recommend this rental.

This is a really wonderful home that is clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable and the game room was great for my teenager. The gas grill and fire pit made the evenings very special. The location was excellent and the hosts were exceptionally kind, welcoming and accommodating. I could not recommend this home my highly!

Everything about the property was beautiful. Comfortable beds. Welcoming living room. Amazing dining room view! Having lakeside access was so amazing and memorable. Peaceful sunrises with a cup of coffee. The host was quick to respond and was very helpful and understanding, especially when reaching out quickly before we left town that we had left behind some items. They arranged it so we could retrieve it quickly. Would definitely stay again

Nice, quiet, FAMILY spot. This isn’t a place for loud over night stay but if you need a place to rest I couldn’t find a better spot to call home for the night. Host 5/5 Super nice and responsive. Clear how to get in. Place 5/5 It’s basically a hotel room without having to hear footsteps or noise 24/7. Fantastic. Bed 5/5 Clean, all amenities were in a close by closet. Bigger builds will find the shower tight but very usable. Would recommend if you have an event to go to. Bit far from Cleveland and Sandusky. Bout 25 and 35 respectively.

Super kid friendly and unique Airbnb. Tons of toys, books, and pool table. Heather was very welcoming and the house had lots of sweet touches like honey from their bees and a sign about the bedroom furniture being from her loving grandma’s home. Loved the place!

Host Mama’s place was fabulous! The house had everything we needed and more. It’s in a perfect location close to everything. Host Mama was kind and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

I was in town for a friend's wedding and some relaxation. This place was perfect for me, it's right on the lake and had a beautiful sunrise waking up to and watching the sunset. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever I'm the area again. The hosts were very responsive and respectful. 🌟

We absolutely loved the property. It was so nice to have the option to use the grill/ fire pit/ back yard. My husband loved being able to just walk down a few steps to enjoy fishing—which he did every morning and evening. We were only about an hour from Marblehead where we went to see the lighthouse and then took a ferry to Kelley’s Island. On the island, we recommend seeing the Glacial Grooves and the North Shore Alvar. Then an hour in the other direction, we were able to enjoy the views from the observation tower at Lake Erie Bluffs. And very nearby was Lakeview Park, which had a beach area with swimming. The views from the back yard at sunset were stunning. We had everything we needed for a nice relaxing stay by the water. Another great stay at Linda’s place! Truly the perfect location for spending the weekend at Oberlin college. We were in town for commencement and felt so fortunate to be able to return to Linda’s place for midday reprieves or for a nightcap with fellow parents. A delightful and comfortable stay for a wonderful weekend!
