Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Los Feliz, Los Angeles

We were so comfortable in this house. It's really well appointed - both inside and out. Plenty of cookware and cutlery if you choose to cook at home. Atwater village is just an easy flat walk away though - so most often we ate there. There are plenty of good choices. The large backyard lawn was wonderful for our grandchildren when they visited. A large lawn is unusual in LA. Plenty of outdoor seating too. The whole neighbourhood is lovely and very peaceful. I would happily stay here again and do recommend to anyone looking to visit LA.

Wow, what a great stay! My partner and I really enjoyed our time at Jeremy’s place. Despite the clouds and rain for part of our stay, we could not have asked for a better home base during our time in Los Angeles. Jeremy was helpful, kind, and always responsive. Would definitely stay again! You can’t beat this place.

Norma was a great host! Helped me out on my first night since I came in so late - and then everything else was as described. Silver Lake is a great neighborhood - I'd stay again if the listing is available to me next time I am in the area. 🙂

Leigh is a great host!

Terrific place that was comfortable, neat, quiet, clean and walk-able. I chose it for its proximity to my son + daughter-in-law and was delightfully pleased with how comfortable and easy it was to feel "at home." Also, Los Feliz has a lot of restaurants, markets, coffee-places, and even a good cinema within walking distance. Lastly, when I had trouble opening the Lock-box, the owner immediately texted me back and remained within communication, making sure I could open the Lock-box and access the key to the house. This was very, very appreciated.

Looks just like the listed photos and host was very responsive to all our needs! Great if you have a little one and need baby supplies.

Our group of 4 all enjoyed our stay at a Mike’s house. He was truly a Super Host! He welcomed us with a note, snacks, and all of the information we could have needed. The beds were super comfy, the home was comfortable, peaceful, beautiful, and in a neighborhood near interesting shops and tasty restaurants.

I loved my stay here at Mary’s place, and especially enjoyed spending time on the deck enjoying the sunset. Mary was a kind and courteous host and her space is private, comfortable and has everything you need to cook if desired. My only con is that you can hear the upstairs neighbor walking around quite loudly, and sometimes very late at night. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Otherwise, a perfect location to relax and explore the city, especially close to Atwater Village, Los Feliz, Highland Park and Echo Park.

Really enjoyed my stay at Juan’s guesthouse. The neighborhood is very safe and peaceful. I slept well and there are so many great restaurants in the area. Less than a 10 minute drive from Dodger Stadium. Highly recommend for anyone visiting LA.

Peter’s place was amazing! It’s very private, but also in a great location. We were mainly in the area to attend a few Dodger games, and staying in this location made Dodger stadium so easily accessible for us. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We really felt right at home. Also, being able to park on the property and not have to worry about street parking was extremely beneficial. Peter is an excellent host and is very friendly! His instructions were clear and he also gave many recommendations for things to do in the area. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat if I’m ever back in the area!

Best thing about this place is the location and outdoor deck/patio space with awesome view. Quiet lovely street but near lots of action of Silver Lake. The apartment itself is very nice as well.

This is truly a magical place. To be just a few miles from downtown LA, and find yourself in what feels like a tropical mountain village! Wow! From the lovely balcony, you have a view of gorgeous palms and other trees, and the lights of Silver Lake across the reservoir. To top it off, the early morning birdsongs are so sweet and welcoming. The apartment is well-designed, the bed is comfortable, and in contrast to what another review said, the internet works great (10 hours of video conferencing one day with no problems). As the host has pointed out, and others have mentioned, this is a place for people with no mobility issues due to steep hill, stairs up from the driveway, and narrow stairs to bed area, but if you can navigate that, then this refuge in the big city is highly, enthusiastically recommended!

I stayed at Taylor and Don’s for a week. I had come from Marina del Ray (staying with a friend) so had got used to that side of LA. If you’re from Melbourne AUS - it’s like Southside vs Northside. Coming to the other side as a woman traveling alone, I wasn’t sure what to expect with the area. But Taylor and Don were like instant friends; welcoming, super helpful, answered all my ‘can I walk alone at night questions’ and I felt super safe in their apartment. Plus I really enjoyed our other chats when I did run into them briefly. The apartment has everything you need. It’s cosy and warm when it’s cold and wet (random couple of rainy days); nice and cool after being out in the LA heat all day. The space is well thought out, aesthetically pleasing & has the best views to watch the sunset with a glass of vino. Plus it’s so close to good coffee & croissants (Doubting Thomas). It was also really easy for me to get to and from the galleries/sites/bars/shops etc on my list. Sooo I’ll be back!

This stay was absolutely amazing! The apartment was beautiful, clean, and exceeded all expectations. What truly made the experience stand out was the host—extremely responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. I’ve stayed in many places, but I’ve never experienced this level of customer service before. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free stay!

The way Cliff treated us as guests really touched my heart. To say he goes above and beyond is an understatement. The location was literally perfect for us and it’s such a great deal. It really is a private place. We felt nice and tucked away.

Pari’s place is bigger than it appears in the photos- really nice space. Modern and comfortable, fully outfitted kitchen, and plenty of towels/amenities. Contrary to other reviewers, I didn’t find the parking to be tough. I rented an SUV and just backed into the space without a problem - I can see how it would be tough for someone if they headed in- just do a three point turn up front and you’ll be fine :) One last comment- the location can’t be beat! Walking distance to so much (including one of my favorite restaurants, Green Street). And less than 15 minutes to Occidental College, where I was attending events. Great stay. Thanks Pari!

We were in LA for business meetings. Before we make a reservation, we compared Ali's condo with the other condos surrounding. He is the most responsive and most helpful host, and we are so glad and lucky that we made a correct selection and book Ali's house. He likes a local friend who provided us with not only assistance/guidance on check-in and staying but also touring and catering advice. He is super responsive, proactively reaching out to us offering additional help, and so friendly. The place is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Guests can tell from the tasty design, details of guidance, and thoughtful and convenient amenities that Ali and his wife have spent great time and effort to make this place as welcoming and cozy as possible. This place is definitely our stay for next visit, regardless for business or private. The location is close to everything, peaceful, and in walking distance to my LA office and everything.

Fabulous DTLA apartment. Great living space. Close to restaurants, shops and USC. Didn’t get to use the pool but it looked great. Parking was easily accessible and a big plus. Would definitely stay again!

This was a grate last minute booking. San allowed me to check in early so I could get ready for plans later that night. The place was in a great location if you want to be a tourist! It did have a noticeable smell to it but there was candles in the unit and that took care of the smell. Over all I would recommend staying here to anyone and would book again

I had a fantastic stay at Tianna's place. It was exactly like the pictures, right on the main street with easy access to public transport to Santa Monica beach. Parking space was a big bonus. Tianna was extremely friendly and responsive, and the house was fully stocked with anything you could need, from complementary drinks and coffee, to toiletries. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Mark and Camille’s place! My husband and our dog felt right at home in this cozy, charming space. The studio has a warm, homey feel and is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood that was perfect for dog walks. Mark and Camille were gracious and welcoming hosts, and we truly appreciated the peaceful backyard nook, it was the perfect spot to relax. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and pet-friendly getaway.

Once again, Shant's place was the perfect stay! He communicates quickly, and keeps the place very clean. The rooftop pool is beautiful and relaxing! Bed is super comfortable! Having security at the entrance makes things feel extra safe! And you can't beat the free parking!!!
