Horizon | Hot/Cold Tub, Fireplaces, Sauna, EV Plug

What a beautiful place. We felt right at home, and spend several hours just decompressing on the spacious deck with a spectacular view. Watched storms drift across the valley, and bird of prey swoop across the skies. Sounds of nature everywhere, and all the comforts of home inside. The interior is thoughtfully appointed, and has just enough without over doing the comfortably compact space. The car charger was also extremely appreciated. Many choices of easy daily adventures, too. We enjoyed Luray, Sperryville and DuCard Vineyards. Thank you Skyline Properties for a wonderful stay.

Relax and unwind at Solar Solitude

JeromeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
West Virginia's nature has that particular vibe, for the lack of a better word, that reminded me somehow the liveliness of the Amazon Rainforest, place of many discoveries still being unfolded as I integrate their teachings in my life. And Russ' Yurt was the right place/right time for me to be to further stretch my reach across realms. It'a all about mending wall, isn't it? Great place, great host. Heartily recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin is beautiful and our favorite part was enjoying the outdoor tub at sunset. Would love to stay again!

One word- PERFECT! My boyfriend and I needed to get away from the chaos of the world and stumbled upon Elizabeth’s cabin and I’m so glad we did. Perfect location that is isolated and close to a town all at once. The cabin is spotless, comfy beds, couch. We got to experience a thunderstorm on the porch- major highlight! We will definitely be back!

Forest Retreat w/Outdoor Amenities 4BR

JoeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This home had all the amenities you could want and more. We enjoyed cooking on the Cowboy Cauldron both nights by using foil over the grate. Spacious, private property with a marked trail to the top of Hammon Mountain. Four Comfortable, clean beds in private bedrooms. A quiet, solid 3 story home. We loved the wrap around porch. We saw some deer early in the morning while drinking our coffee The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals. Stylish & comfortable. Nice sized, clean bathrooms with good water pressure. Wifi was great. We didn’t notice the propane grill until the last day but the cauldron worked very well. We were in the area to hike at Shenandoah but our family wished we had another night to stay and enjoy the property.

3BR Modern Cabin in the Woods + King Suite

Wonderful beds! We had a SUPER RESTFUL and beautiful time at Leona’s place with not a worry at all. The home is peaceful, thoughtful, well cared for, well stocked, and Leona is a FAB HOST. Some airbnbs have everything except a great bed. I’ve stayed at at least a dozen really great airbnbs that I’ve given good reviews to but would never ever return to because everything was great except the beds. Fragile bed frames (one actually fell apart in an Airbnb we otherwise loved and we had to put it back together) lumpy, hard or old smelling mattresses, squeaky bedframes, thin old pillows and polyester sheets in summer. Please no. If you’re looking at the listing you can see that this is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. But if you’re also rocking a middle aged, sometimes sleep deprived body just know you can get a really good rest at Leona’s place. And you if it rains, instead of being bummed, you can just get back in bed.

The Chapter House: Hot Tub + Mountain Views

RachelleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Spent a weekend at the house for my husband’s birthday. The house was very beautiful and cozy. We were able to have a nice relaxing weekend. No complaints but I would suggest maybe a few more chairs for the fire pit and maybe a sauna. We would definitely come back!
