Holiday rentals with a home cinema in Lothian

Truly lovely people, we immediately felt at home in his house, the cat was cute and they have an deliveroo business with delicious onigiri that i highly recommend. Truly the taste of japanese onigiri. If we were to come back we would choose this place again.

Cute Place! looks like the pictures. The street parking was typically full when we would come in the afternoon/evening, but we always were able to find a spot at least on a fairly close street.

A lovely flat in an old Victorian house. A little quirky over two levels, but really lovely hosts and a less touristy town than many others in Scotland.

We had a great stay at Mohammed's accommodation. Great location, all attractions are walkable. Very comfy apartment and Mohammed was a great host

Was the most perfect stay for me and my 3 other friends to celebrate my birthday. Looks exactly like the pictures and is the perfect location to get around Edinburghs main spots. To top it off Antoinette was so lovely and super helpful!

It’s very nice. Nearly to bus station, and art gallery or China town. Next time I’ll stay here. Thank you !

beautiful and clean room

We rented Linzi's place to see the beauty of Scotland and to play some golf. Her apartment is well located, convenient to town and to golf courses. The apartment is modern, spotlessly clean, quiet and includes private parking. Linzi was a great communicator answering any questions we had about the rental and the area. We highly recommend Linzi's place for your trip to beautiful Scotland!

Kamil responded very quickly when I booked, checked to see if I needed a lift from anywhere. He gave me a larger room, very comfortable. Nice dining room/lounge overlooking garden. Near bus stop. Useful to be able to use fridge, kitchen. Access by entering a code if Kamil isn't in. Venue very handy for visiting friend in sheltered housing nearby.

Ciara and Mel were very welcoming and helpful. The place is in an amazing location close to a train station just 10 minutes to central Edinburgh. They also have an adorable cavapoo called Brodie. A great place to stay.

We had a fantastic long weekend at Smithfield House. The property is fantastic and so well equipped, our group made the most of the BBQ pavilion and whilst we were blessed with some Scottish Sunshine we loved the outdoor heaters and lights that allowed us to stay outside for longer without feeling the cold. We had a number of kids with us and loved the enclosed courtyard as they could run around and were safe. The games room was also a huge hit with everyone and was so convenient that the property had an EV charger.

Monica and Cian were perfect hosts. So friendly and welcoming. The Georgian house is stunning yet still manages to feel homely and comfortable. It's on a lovely street in the middle of Berwick, so it's very easy to get around and see the town. I can't recommend this home enough. Thanks Monica and Cian x

The accommodation was perfect for what we were looking for, clean and the host was attentive. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Lots of amenities near by and parking too.

I felt like it was home away from home. Stayed here for 5 weeks while i was on placement in the Queen Margaret hospital (15min walk), and it included absolutely everything i needed and more! Couldn’t have loved it more :) thank you so much for letting me stay! So close to local shops and easy links to city centre too

Kamil, was a fantastic host. As I was his first long stay rental he outlined his rules. Respect to privacy but also sociable and volunteered to take me with him when he did grocery shopping or going for take out meals. His place felt like a second home, and asked me before going into the room I rented if he had to access items stored there. The keyless door lock and outdoor camera made me feel secure. With the kitchen I had my own cupboard space as well as space in the fridge and freezer for my food, as well as instructed me in the use of the cooker and washing machine ( different from Canada).

Julia and Scott were excellent hosts, we were very warmly welcomed, although we only stayed there one night and booked at very short notice. We got a great breakfast, location very central and beautiful. I'd love to come back anytime, thank you for everything!

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Had a great stay - the flat had everything we needed. It was a fantastic base for sightseeing. The bus stop is close by and free on street parking available. It is an affordable option especially for families. The host was very responsive and went out of her way to make sure we had a good stay. We would definitely make use of it again should we return

Julie-Ann was a great host - v friendly and helpful. Her home was very convenient and she has a top knowledge of all there is to do in Edinburgh. I would very happily stay there again. A nice homely, comfortable, friendly and convenient place to stay.

Great location to explore Crieff on foot. McRosty Park was great and kept the kids entertained for hours. Highly recommend Bannister's bagels for lunch. Salt beef was amazing. Catrina's place was spacious and comfortable.

Amazing stay in Edinburgh, Alex’s place is in this beautiful little village in the center of the city. Very quiet and residential, it’s the perfect place for a few days in the city. I wished we had more time to stay a few more days because the house really felt like home 🥰 beautifully decorated, very comfortable, they have an amazing vinyl player and very good washing machine and dryer. Alex was also very flexible with check in/check out times which we highly appreciated. Thank you so so much for everything, if we are back we will definitely stay here again.
