Le gîte se situe en plein cœur du vignoble, à 4 km de la bastide de Sainte-Foy-la-Grande construite au 13ème siècle sur les rives de la Dordogne, permettant baignades et activités nautiques; et à seulement 15 minutes de Duras et son château médiéval classé monument historique.

Close to Bordeaux (1 hour), castles (Duras, Bridoire, Biron, etc.), Bastides (Eymet, Issigeac, etc.), numerous outdoor activities in the heart of Périgord (canoeing on the Dordogne, treetop adventures, hiking, etc.)

Stone barn renovated into 2 adjoining cottages separated by a large interior garden area. It's a cozy cottage that I offer you, ideal for resting in the countryside at the farm. Many possible activities: canoeing, Gabares rides on the Dordogne, castles, villages, caves, museums, restaurants, flea markets... etc.

This charming little traditional stone house is very cosy, comfortable while being sober and ecological in the same time. I am happy to share it with travelers who appreciate simplicity and proximity to nature. The house is equipped with a very good wood stove, with exposed beams on the ceiling and terracotta tiles on the floor. The house is hot and cosy in winter, and cool in summer (Possibility to pick you up at the train station or airport for small extra fees)

The guest house "Le figuier du clos d'Emilion" adjoins our house, which has been completely renovated and tastefully furnished to offer all modern comforts. They have a fully equipped kitchen and a shared garden with barbecue, plancha and fryer. The fruit trees offer you sunny or shady places and we have installed sunbeds for your comfort. "Le clos d'Emilion" is located 5 minutes from the village of Saint Emilion and a few steps from the Dordogne.

The house is located 10 min drive to the historic center of Bergerac and the airport, 2 to 5 min drive to the shopping area (Leclerc, various restaurants, shops, pharmacy), bowling, laser play, karting.

Come and enjoy a getaway for two and live in this atypical accommodation, a soothing experience away from everyday stress. Several hiking trails will allow you to discover our hilly landscapes around the corner. In a rural environment, this independent accommodation is located 4 km from a village with essential shops, a doctor's office and a pharmacy. The accommodation has many amenities and we provide our washing machine, dryer and crib if needed. We hope to satisfy you with a quiet setting overlooking the surrounding vineyards and woods. Started in Normandy, the gîte and bed and breakfast activity of the Manoir du Picaud will see the light of day in 2022 after a lot of interior work, choosing this area that has been dormant for a few years to best receive my guests in this magnificent region.  To preserve the calm and serenity of this exceptional site, the manor is located on the plateau extending Monbazillac, above Bergerac.
