Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

The property is 25 minutes from downtown Porto. Beautiful beaches (sea and river) 12 minutes away. Surf schools. Aerodrome and Aero Club of Espinho. Zoo. Braga, Aveiro, Viana do Castelo, Ponte de Lima, Guimarães, Vila do Conde, Póvoa do Varzim and Passadiços do Paiva are about 1 hour away, which allows you to visit and sleep in the accommodation on the same day. Sta. Maria da Feira hosts the Medieval Fair, Perlim and the Multipurpose Center. Grijó is on the Way to Santiago and Fátima.

A forest is a short walk from the house for walking. The A32 highway is 2 km away, a spa and a restaurant known for its shellfish (Pedra Bela) is less than 3 km away. Porto is 37 km away, the "Passadicio do Paiva" is 43 km away.
