Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Lower Merion Township

We had a great stay at Malyka's place. She called to greet me and see if I had any needs prior to our arrival, the night before. She was responsive and very friendly. The apartment was comfortable, especially the beds. The shower had great flow and was wonderfully hot. Having the washer and dryer was a huge help. Please note though, there is a lack of electrical sockets in the living room for charging your phone or other electronics. We improvised and charged in the bedroom or bathroom. The neighborhood is walkable/bikeable with parks and playgrounds very close by. There is an abundance of options for food in the area as well. Give 'Tasties' a try for really great soul food. We would happily stay here again if in the Philly area.

You could spend nearly $200 / night at a major commercial hotel in the area. And you'll get whatever else comes along in the form of noise from neighbors, heavy traffic, crime, etc. Or, you can spend about half of that to stay here and get all of the comfort and charm of a cozy apartment that is quiet and tucked away from all of the hustle and bustle of Upper Darby and Metro Philadelphia, yet still so close to the activity that you're never more than about 45 minutes away from the excitement of the city or other cool spots in Delco or the Tri State area. From a fully furnished kitchen, TVs, WiFi, washer & dryer, and more, you have all that you need to stay comfortably for a day or a month. And to make it better, you have your own parking spot, and the facility can accommodate a family. What's not to like? I'd stay here again!

One of my favorite places we've stayed! It faces a major street though and in the front bedroom the road noise prevented sleep for my family. I stayed in the smaller back bedroom where the bed was amazingly comfortable and the road noise was almost pleasant haha. I felt like a welcomed and valued guest. Loved the fair trade caramel coffee!

This Hewitt is a history lover's dream. If you enjoy Victorian history, architecture, and antiques, you're going to love this place. The period accurate furniture, the 1906 Victrola, and the antique typewriter are stunning. I also enjoyed learning more about the history and ownership of the home via the Google devices in each room. The secret room hidden behind the bookcase is one of the coolest things I've experienced at an airbnb-- the apt is worth it for that experience alone! Aside from the gorgeous interior, the apt itself is pretty quiet. You'll occasionally hear the dog barking outside or a loud car passing by, but not often. The neighborhood is also lovely to walk around filled with more history. There are stunning Victorians all around the area, which makes walking around to discover them a treat. There are also house museums you can visit. Overall, the Hewitt is a must-visit at least once, but I'm already thinking about the next time I can go.

Enjoyable stay in an up-to-date, clean, and comfortable lodging space near Drexel campus. Excellent place for visiting parents. Host Lucy is very responsive.

Vincent's place was exactly as described, clean, and perfect for a quick trip to Philly! Vincent was flexible and easy to communicate with.

TL’s place is a spacious basement unit. Great hot water, useful washer and dryer, and a very comfortable bed! The family lives upstairs, and the floor is a little thin, but you feel right at home. TL was very helpful and flexible with my stay. I would stay again next time I’m in Philadelphia!

We stayed at Mamle’s house with family and we all loved it! The location is perfect, beautiful quiet neighborhood but only a short walk to the train to go anywhere in the Philadelphia area. Also, having the big Giant grocery store right across the street was awesome! The house is older and charming and very clean and comfortable. It’s equipped for cooking and we enjoyed some good meals there. Mamle was a great host and was very helpful. We had some nice walks around the neighborhood and to Narberth one day and also took the train to Center City another day, very convenient. My husband and I took the train right from Philadelphia airport and with one connection we were able to walk right to the house. Our daughter drove and had no problems with parking. A wonderful experience!

We used Drew's home for our daughter's wedding weekend home away from home and it was perfect. We had everything we needed and more. The backyard space was gorgeous for taking photos and relaxing pre and post events. And we had space for the girls to get ready in comfort. The kitchen was well appointed and the layout was super helpful for feeding the wedding party while they got ready. The fireplace was an extra nice touch as was the wine fridge and fire pit outside. We are so thankful for this rental as we were in from out of town and needed a space just like this to make my daughter's day extra special. As a host, Drew was very responsive and prompt when answering our questions. We will definately come back when in the area again.

We had a great stay at Marcella’s house. Very comfortable, nicely decorated town home in a great location. We traveled with our dog and baby and were all very happy there. The path along the canal is beautiful, with waterfalls and mosaic. Marcella was a great host and very accommodating.

Great 3 night stay. Perfect for traveling with dogs. The fenced back yard is amazing. Very well stocked kitchen if you plan to eat in. Very clean and well maintained property.

Impeccably clean and well-appointed. Perfect for our trip to visit family close by. Close to churches, food, and shopping — whatever you need. Great neighborhood to walk and enjoy the area.

Great property for an active family on the road.

Rui was a great host, very proactive and responsive to questions. Don't be fooled by Google Street View photos, the building has been complete updated and is very modern and clean. In fact, much of the area has been updated. Free parking nearby was greatly appreciated. This apartment was perfect for two couples. Separate Bed & Bath at opposite ends, with a nice living, dining, and kitchen space in between. Despite not being the most attractive street (it's kind of a side street with some old buildings undergoing renovation) it was quiet and we were able to relax. We would definitely come back.

If you are looking for a good central location, that’s the perfect choice. The beautiful apartement is like a 5 star hotel. It looks very luxurious, the bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the whole apartement is spotlessly clean. You can also find several parking options for a good price if you arrive by car. I will definitely book again if I’m visiting Philly.

Great place to stay, looks just like the photos, and is a great feel for the space. Water didn't get as hot as I would like but still gets to a nice temperature. If getting there later in the day, plan to look for parking as it is all street parking. Availability for parking was within a block or so, which was fine. Overall great night's stay!

Nikhil was an outstanding host: Top-tier responsiveness; Great communication; Flexible; Proactive; Clearly very thoughtful in in so many of the choices taken in preparing a place for guests to feel comfortable and cared for like wireless chargers, diverse lighting, extra towels and toiletries. Really enjoyed the unique setup and will want to stay there again. Even parking was incredible: Free only 20 feet from the rear entryway. Free parking in any city is a real bonus! Thanks Nikhil for accommodating a great last-minute stay at your cool place!

This is my second time staying in this apartment and it was just as great as I remembered. Really nice well stocked kitchen as far as cooking materials go and appliances. Also, very comfortable bed, and it’s a nice quiet place with secure parking. Highly recommend and will probably stay there again.

Danni's place offered a relaxing stay for my family of four (including toddler & infant). Her responsiveness before & during the trip was greatly appreciated, as were her clear instructions & city guide. The home offers up multiple places to congregate after a day of touring the city -- the rooftop in particular was lovely even if the weather didn't cooperate. The kitchen was functional and came with a nice welcome basket that my children loved. I also really appreciated the baby items -- gates for the staircases, all outlets covered, toys, a crib, pack n' play, and baby bath. These amenities made it an easy decision to forgo a hotel and made our packing a bit easier too! Fairmount is a walkable neighborhood with plenty of food & coffee options, as well as on-street parking. Hope to visit again soon!
