For the summertime getaway we are minutes away from 3 inland lakes with many trails to hike your worries away. Centrally located making many highlights only an hour away. Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, Crisp Point Lighthouse and many more. We use only natural disinfectant cleaners and fragrance and dye free laundry detergents.

Entire 3 bedroom, 1 bath home centrally located to enjoy all the UP has to offer. Near the intersection of M123 and CR407 (Four Mile Corner) and just 4 miles north of the town of Newberry. From here you can take day trips to all the beautiful attractions that are "Pure Michigan" or hop on the snowmobile/ORV trails or maybe fish/ice fish in one of the many nearby lakes. Newberry is a quaint town with restaurants/shops/grocery/gas, etc. NO PETS ALLOWED.

Welcome! This is a spacious Montana high country 5th wheel camper to stay in. It is fully connected to water power and sewer. It has almost all the amenities you will need including bedding, towels, cookware and probably some things you forgot.. There is NOT any WIFI on the property though. It has private bedroom with queen bed and a fold out bed that is a Full-sized camper mattress in the couch in the living room.

The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.

Place was wonderful. I was looking for something handicap accessible for my grandma. There were a few steps we had to get her in, and the doorway to the bathroom and bed rooms were to small for the wheel chair. Since she was able to stand and walk a few steps with some help it wasnt a problem for us. And she was able to get around the rest of the house just fine. It was so peaceful and quite. The fire pit was amazing, spend hours hanging out around it. Not to far away from stores and only a 24 min drive to the falls. Everything was amazing. Thank you for letting us stay!

Curtis House Down By The Lake

We stayed Mon-Fri, two adults and six children (ages 17-1). This house was amazing- so well stocked in the kitchen, so many extra touches. Two baby gates to close off the stair portions. Snacks on the counter. Tons of pots, pans, utensils, storage containers, coffee extras (Keurig, Mr. Coffee, and a Bunn), solid built house (but does have some squeaky floors). Warm and inviting. Super clean. There is a grill outside. This house is as a rental ought to be- fully stocked and feels like someone's home. The beds were amazing. The children absolutely loved the bedroom upstairs with all the beds- they could all be together! Many major attractions within an hour's drive. Five stars- excellent house.

Lots of room/beds if you have a big group. Close to the trail head. King size bed was really comfortable. Everything you would need with tons of amenities. All and all a great place but could use some updating. Unfortunately, we had to leave before the end of our stay. Derek was very responsive and helpful!

The host was super responsive, the place looked just like the photos and the location was perfect to visit many great places in the UP. Very peaceful in the mornings and a great view for morning coffee.
