Apartment holiday rentals in Lugano District

I had a great stay at this ground floor unit in Lugano Paradiso. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short 3-minute walk to the lake and the Paradiso train station, which made getting around very easy. There’s even a kebab shop right across the street, perfect for a quick bite. The apartment itself was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully functional and thoughtfully stocked with essentials like oil, salt, and spices, which was a nice touch. All rooms, including the bathroom, were spotless and clearly cared for. Overall, this is a comfortable and well-priced accommodation that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Romina's place was just like the pictures - very conveniently located next to the swimming pool and lake. The place was big and bright with tons of closet storage. I personally loved her knifes for cooking as the were actually sharp and great for cutting tomatoes (something rare in Airbnbs). There was also lots of linen and it all smelt fresh and newly washed. The apartment is an easy drive to lots of sites and if you have water equipment (paddle board, etc) the lake is easy access and there is a lot of communal storage.

Location is outstanding, just in the heart of Lugano with 3 min to the lake and 5 min to the train station. The apartment is modern, clean and stylish. We enjoyed our stay a lot! Unclear instructions about the waste handling. Our host is nice, but seems to be very busy. We had some challenge to get in touch with Vito. Overall we recommend this nice apartment and would be happy to use it again.

I stayed at Susanne's place with my partner and two friends. The spacious spaces of the apartment and the beautiful balcony with a view allowed us to live a very pleasant experience. Susanne's place is a super-attic with direct access from the elevator that rises from the garage with two parking spaces. Very comfortable! We also enjoyed the magnificent hot tub. Personally, I particularly appreciated the large kitchen and the view that can also be enjoyed from the inside of the apartment. Susanne is an attentive and punctual host. We felt welcomed as a family. Thanks Susanne and talk soon.

We had a wonderful time at Piero's: the apartment's view is lovely, and we appreciated the privacy it offered during our stay. The studio is not just conveniently close to the lake, public transportation can be reached on foot, so we didn't need a car to get to get around. Recommended for a peaceful lakeside getaway.

The residence is located a mere 6 minutes on foot from the nearest bus station, accessible via a cute forest path. However, I would advise taking a taxi or car upon your initial arrival, as the route inclines slightly and you may feel fatigued from your journey. If you arrive in the evening, it is advisable to complete your shopping in advance, as stores tend to close earlier than in urban areas. Should you find yourself in need of any items, do not hesitate to consult your hosts. I really enjoyed the house and the hosts, and I look forward to coming back!

One of the most stunning locations you can imagine on Lugano. Right on the lake, 3 storeyed and superbly kept. Don't think. Just go for it if you are considering Lugano. Fantabulous views.

A very practically furnished, very well-maintained 2-room apartment in a beautiful panoramic location. It is excellent for a few days and is perfect for long mountain walks. This was our first time visiting Switzerland from the US, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lena‘s Lakefront condo. She was wonderful at creating an at-home atmosphere and making sure we have everything we needed to cook, wash laundry, and navigate through Lugano. It was very convenient walk outside of our door each morning to grab a coffee or quick breakfast at the local hotel. In the evenings we would cook a homemade dinner and enjoy the view from the balcony. A short walk to the lake was a great time to spend a hot evening. What a magical place! Lena is a great host who thought diligently about anything you could need to make a comfortable stay. We hope to return soon!

The location of the apartment was great—it was quiet yet very walkable from central Lugano. We stayed here as a family of four, including our 18- and 14-year-old boys. There was comfortable parking in the basement of the building. The apartment itself was clean and well-equipped. Thank you, Gentiana, for your recommendations. We had a short stay of one day and night in Lugano as part of a week-long family holiday in Switzerland, which was sufficient.

Marugg's place exceeded all of our expectations!!!! Lugano was our final stop on our 2 week family trip through Italy. We experienced many beautiful places throughout the 2 weeks but Marugg's place exceeded them all!!! The attention to detail was phenomenal. The location was 'perfetto,' the views spectacular and the home pristine. Our grandchildren made excellent use of the pool and the outdoor space was incredible! We enjoyed our morning coffee on the expansive patio area soaking in the tranquil views of the lake and all of the beautiful flowers. The smell of honeysuckle abounded outdoors ~ Marugg's home truly encompassed all of the senses. We cannot recommend it enough and we can't wait to return on our next visit to see our Swiss family! Beautiful apartment with a very nice view and above all very quiet. Mauro is very welcoming and super helpful. We had a great weekend together.

We stayed for a weekend and will definitely be back soon. The contact with Fikrete was very friendly, we immediately felt very comfortable and the view of the lake is fantastic. In general, the complex looks very well maintained and despite many residential units, you can enjoy peace and quiet on the balcony. The car can be parked in the yard, which is secured to you by a gate. A pool completes it all and of course direct access to the lake . Bissone is located just outside Lugano, very nice quiet with numerous opportunities for walking. However, Lugano can be reached very quickly by bus or car. Lugano captivates with its promenade and numerous cafes and restaurants. There are also many possibilities for hiking enthusiasts. For us, it was perfect at Fikrete, with plenty of everything, sparkling clean and practical/ friendly furnishings. Thank you again and see you soon family Pfeiffer

What a wonderful place! The view is quite spectacular. Me, my wife & 2 children spent 2 nights here and we loved it. Quiet, peaceful, spectacular view, hot tub, loads of outdoor space and a lovely inside space. Wish we could have stayed a little longer. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

The place is fantastic and the garden view is beautiful, it might be a hustle to get there without a car, and you have to bear with the early morning gardening noise in the season.
