Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Luleå

We spent three wonderful days in the little red house, right on the Baltic Sea. It was very tastefully decorated, cozy and clean. From the bed we had a fantastic view of the snowy landscape and the frozen Baltic Sea. A small path also leads to a barrel sauna with direct views of the sea. Since the owners arrived on the last day of our stay, we were able to get to know them. They were totally warm and provided us with tips for our onward journey. All in all, we felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

We immediately felt very comfortable in the house! It is beautifully bright, has enough space for a family of five or six and is very centrally located. Three toilets and two ways to shower are wonderful! We did not use the sauna, but it looked cozy. Overall the house is very welcoming and clean!

One week cross country skiing for two adults and two teenage kids. Everyone loved the house. Beautifully decorated and luxurious with sauna and hot tub. Some distance both for action and to illuminated ski tracks. Worked well for us who could leave the kids ourselves. Very well equipped kitchen that really facilitated lunches and coffee times with smoothies, sandwiches and waffle irons as well as air fryer. Also good oven and dough scraper 😉 As an added bonus, we got tips on an aurora night that we otherwise risk missing. Thank you for a great week!

Great stay in Lapland! The accommodation was perfect, the fireplace is a real plus! The morning view is beautiful! Richard is very responsive! We were able to enjoy the northern lights and Lulea is very close by car! If you want a real change of scenery and rest, the accommodation is perfect. 😊 I recommend it without hesitation! We had 5 nights at Karin's house. We are two adults and two children ages 8 and 10. The house is very cozy and was a perfect fit for us. We enjoyed the beautiful winter landscape and the frozen fjord. The house is not far from Luleå, but you have to get out of some small road with limited speed, so it takes about 25 minutes. The drive is very beautiful through the winter forest, and the road was nicely cleared while we were there. Karin is very flexible and accommodating, and we got really good information both before and after check out.

We really enjoyed our stay in this old and cosy family home in this peaceful village. The house was very welcoming and comfortable. Tomas was here to welcome us and give us great tips on the best spot to catch some northern lights. The kitchen stove made our evenings extra cosy and magical. Mikael was an absolutely incredible host and went out of his way to accommodate our family. He helped source a cot and high chairs from his neighbours which was unbelievably helpful and generous. The facilities are incredible and the surroundings are so beautiful. Mikael allowed us to borrow his boat for fishing, and a neighbour gifted us some fresh fish he’d caught when we were less successful😂 . Excellent communication leading up to the trip and during. Overall we had a fantastic experience and I would recommend anyone visiting the Luleå area to stay here.

We had a wonderful week at Catharina's. Everything was as described and in the photos. Great surroundings, wonderful view, great house and super nice hosts. Thank you for this experience, we would come back again and again on a trip to Sweden.

Cozy accommodation in a beautiful environment, it was easy to find and clean and fresh! Extra plus for the comfortable bed, can highly recommend this accommodation.

Very spacious, incredibly fresh and lovely accommodation. 10 out of 10! I slept very well my two nights even though there is noisy traffic outside (however, I always sleep with earplugs.) Close to the bus that takes you into the center and opposite is a large grocery store. If I'm ever in the area, I'll definitely stay here again☺️

We stayed before at Daniel's house, now we got back because it is a very nice place, very cozy, we feel just like home, everything is very clean, fully eqquipped with everything, and Daniel is the best host, very communicative and helpful.

This was a great place to stay for a weekend in the city. It is walking distance from everywhere in the city and super cozy. The checking in process was smooth, especially considering we arrived late at night. The hosts were responsive and easy to work with! I would stay here again!

Overall, a wonderful experience! Ivone was a great host who communicated well. The apartment was extremely nice and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house near Luleå! First of all, the communiamcarion with Lubomir was super easy: he responded quickly, comprehensive and kindly before and during our stay! When we arrived the place was cozyand clean, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Moreover, the location is perfect — close to a bus stop with a bus that departs almost every 10 minutes until 6 pm, yet in a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood. There is also a river next by from which we could see Aurora perfectly! Lubomir was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had all the information we needed. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore Luleå, Gammelstad and its surroundings. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Really great place to stay in Luleå! Fully equipped, powerful heating for the winters anf newly done bathroom. Everything worked great and fully equipped place. The hosts are very nice!
