Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lumbarda

Mario was extra nice and he even let us stay latter than the check-out accorded because there wasn’t another guest arriving. He even came to pick us up at the port. We really enjoyed our stay because the house was pleasant and the island beautiful! :)

Wir hatten 2 wundervolle Wochen in Davors Haus! Besonders der tolle Pool hat uns und vor allem den Kindern sehr gut gefallen. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen wundervollen Blick auf die Bucht zu der man auch sehr schnell zu Fuß gelangt(Badeschuhe nicht vergessen-es gibt viele Seeigel ) Davor war jederzeit für Fragen und Tipps schnell zu erreichen und immer sehr freundlich! Sehr zu empfehlen!!

The house and the nature around are otherworldly. The house is situated far from any civilization, and we've barely seen any neighbors during our stay, so it's perfect for people tired of the big city. But please note that you need a car in order to move around, since the house is 5 km from the nearest civilization. The house itself has everything you might need in terms of utensils and equipment, but is solar-powered, thus heavy electronics will wear the battery down fast. We were fine with 2 phones and 1 laptop, but it also depends on how sunny it gets during your stay. As to getting there, you also need to plan your trip around the ferry schedule, cause it's the main way to get from the island to the mainland. Zlatko is a great person, helped us get there, and left some treats for us. Totally recommend the experience.

Although the house was not modern and felt a little undermaintained, it was comfortable, and the outside space, pool and the location were perfect. It was great having the free use of canoes and bike too. A free ranging tortoise family in the garden was lovely too!

Proveli smo predivan odmor u ovoj kućici smještenoj u mirnoj uvali. Ova lokacija je pravi raj za one koji traže mir, tišinu,prirodu koja oduzima dah i kristalno čisto more. Sama kućica je vrlo udobna i opremljena sa svime što je potrebno za ugodan boravak.

We had a wonderful time staying at Nada’s House and Garden by the Sea in Orebic with its great charm and magical garden. The house easily accommodated 5 of us and we enjoyed eating al fresco in our private delightful setting. We swam right in front of the house in sparkling clear water, and loved walking along the promenade with its stunning views to the islands and along the mountainous peninsula. Everything is close- the cafes and restaurants, the little supermarkets, the ferries and the fabulous vineyards. Nada was helpful with good advice and replied promptly to our questions. We would love to return next time for a longer stay in such a beautiful place. Jane and family from Australia

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen 2-wöchigen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Das Haus ist sogar noch schöner als auf den Fotos und sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir haben kaum andere Menschen gesehen. Die Einrichtung ist passend - wir waren mit 5 Erwachsenen und 1 Kind dort aber es passen noch mehr Menschen in die Unterkunft. Würden die Unterkunft definitiv für Ruhesuchende weiterempfehlen, die der Natur sehr Nahe sein möchten.

Wir haben eine Woche in Insa und Zorans Appartement verbracht, dort wurden wir freundlich empfangen, sogar Wassermelone und etwas vom eigenen Olivenöl wurden uns als Willkommensgeschenk zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Unterkunft entsprach exakt der Beschreibung und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Lage und Aussicht sind phänomenal. Wir können die Unterkunft bedenkenlos empfehlen.

Miejsce bardzo spokojne i urokliwe. Prywatna plaża, leżaki i parasole do dyspozycji. Apartament dobrze wyposażony, pralka w łazience. Kontakt z Aną bardzo szybki i sprawny. Okolica bardzo cicha, do sklepu i konoby kilka kilometrów. Jeżeli szukasz spokojnego miejsca z cudownym widokiem to bardzo polecam.

Davor ist ein äußert freundlicher Gastgeber. Er ist aufmerksam, freundlich, kommunikativ. Der Blick vom Hang aus auf den Hafen ist wunderschön. Die Lage ruhig. Wer sich selbst versorgen möchte, findet kleine und größere Supermärkte in 15 Minuten Gehweg. Die Ausstattung der Küche und die Gestaltung der Terrasse laden dazu ein.

Our stay was beautiful, my husband and I went but went the whole 4 room villa out. We read reviews and didn’t want to share the home, there is also only one room with AC so we were happy to have that! You are located in a small village which is beautiful but there is two restaurants and one very small market. It’s a little bit of a difficult walk to the water / bottom but the views and little beaches are well worth it! I do wish there was coffee and water supplied with the stay, but she did provide beach towels which was nice. The local pizzeria was our favorite, we ate multiple meals and drank tons of beer there! The water and sunsets were great! Bring goggles so you can swim with the fish! There is also an upstairs and downstairs rental so you may be sharing the pool area with other guest but it wasn’t bad.

We had a truly wonderful stay! Our host was absolutely amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our trip. He gave us great recommendations on what to see and do in the city, and even treated us to some delicious homemade wine, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The apartment was squeaky clean, peaceful, and quiet, with a stunning view that we enjoyed every single day. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of utensils and appliances—everything we needed and more, which made cooking super convenient. Any time we needed something, he or his family responded immediately and were always happy to help, making us feel completely at home. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with kind, attentive hosts and top-notch hospitality!

Magnifique séjour chez Milka et sa famille qui sont extrêmement disponible et accueillant. La vue sur le port de Zaklopatica est à couper le souffle ! N’hésitez pas :)

Marelas place is a wonderful peaceful private place just a short walk from the city Korcula. We really enjoyed the private bathing area with a lot of sun chairs free to use. In the afternoon it gets nice and shady in the bathing area. . The view from the balcony on the top floor was magic. The kitchen was very well equipped. Although airconditioning in every bedroom would have been appriciated since it was over 32 degrees celcius outside the whole week. Marela gave us a warm welcome and gave us a lot of useful tips of restaurants and shops. We can really recommend a restaurant called Hajduk. Best meal we had in Korcula!! There was a large Konzum groceryshop behind the camping spot. We can really recommend staying at Marelas lovely place.

Nenad is an amazing host that is responsive and helpful. He showed us a short path to town and provided great suggestions during our stay! We wish we could have stayed longer as the house and pool proved to be an oasis with great privacy for a few days!

This is our second stay and was even better than the first. There was amazing communication and flexibility for check in/check out. We were greeted with a fridge full of fruit, milk, juice and snacks. The pool had an issue and it was resolved immediately and host kept of checking in to make sure all was ok. Very helpful local tips for eateries nearby as well as clinics on a Saturday. They were accommodating when our friends arrived and brought over an extra set of linens. The house itself has very comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms with enough space to feel together but separate all the time. We had family meals prepared in the kitchen and the exterior table was perfect for games and watching the night come in. We cannot say enough positive things and will probably be back for a 3rd visit next summer.

Es war eine wunderschöne Zeit im Refugium von Marta- der schönste Sonnenuntergang, mit Liebe eingerichtet und sehr zum wohlfühlen. Nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß vom Meer und eine herrliche Landschaft und Umgebung..

A lovely spot in Stari Grad, one of our favorite stops in Croatia. It’s quiet and charming, and the house is very well located close to everything. Lots of steps to walk up, that’s the only issue if you have limited mobility.

5 Sterne in allen Bereichen! Wir waren überwältigt von dem Haus, der Ausstattung und der Umgebung. Marija war super kommunikativ und hat uns bei Fragen zur Seite gestanden. Die Villa ist ein Traum - fast noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Wir kommen gerne wieder. 😊

We’ve just spent five wonderful days in Orebic, in this beautiful property right next to the sea, with a view from every part of the house. After almost ten years of using Airbnb, I can safely say that this is one of the best experiences we’ve ever had on the platform, and we would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking to book a stay in Croatia. The house itself is gorgeous, fully stocked up with quality appliances, and beautifully decorated. The garden is a dream, with a view over the ocean and full privacy from the road, including a great pool and ‘chill area’. Just outside the garden, from your own gate, you have an incredible spot for swimming in the sea - with sun loungers and the clearest blue-green water. A little piece of paradise! And finally, the host - we could not have asked for a better welcome, with a huge platter of hams, cheeses, olives and more waiting in the fridge, together with chilled wine. Plenty of fruit everywhere, and the kindest hospitality we’ve ever experienced on Airbnb. On top of that, I received a lovely extra treat for my birthday, which showed so much care and kindness. And, if you have any questions, they’re answered immediately, and we also really appreciated the flexible checkout. Just perfect! If you’re still wondering whether to book this place, please don’t hesitate - beautifully situated right next to the sea in Orebic and with everything you can possibly need, combined with the perfect host, this is a one-of-a-kind! ✨ Thank you SO much for having us.

We had an amazing stay at the villa. Beautiful house and grounds which suited our family perfectly. Loved the BBQ and outdoor seating area. Spent a lot of our time around the large pool. The house was beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Thanks to Dasa and Mira, we couldn’t have asked for better hosts.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, die Woche verging leider wie im Flug. Die private Lage inmitten der schönen Natur ist einzigartig und den liebevoll bepflanzten Garten von Antonija und Ante kann man nur lieben. Die Aussicht und die tägliche Erfrischung im Pool sind unbeschreiblich. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man braucht, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Man fühlt sich schnell wie zuhause. Die Insekten haben nicht gestört, es war eher interessant das Leben zu beobachten. Die Wespen kommen nur zum Trinken und interessieren sich nicht für uns. Beim Essen hatten wir immer eine Zitronella Kerze angezündet und somit keine Probleme mit Insekten. Wer die Natur und einen privaten Ort zum Energie tanken sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben!
