Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lustrafjorden

We had such a lovely stay at Bruvoll Feriehus - the home is very cosy with all the amenities for a relaxing, peaceful stay in this beautiful area of Norway. We found the home clean and comfortable. Annike was always friendly and quick to respond to our questions. Check in and out were both easy with clear instructions.

Kristine and the whole Haugen family including dog Alma are very nice hosts. We felt very comfortable in the beautiful house. Since we had nice weather, we were able to grill outside. We bought the delicious meat directly from Kristine and Odd from their local farm. Thanks for the hospitality! The place is highly recommended!

Beautiful house with amazing scenic beauty

Definetely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and immersive experience into the Norwegian culture and fjords, outside touristic areas. The house is lovely and Guro welcomed us very kindly. Kitchen is well equipped and the living room is big. Preferably stay at least 2 or 3 nights to enjoy the place.

We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return! The home was clean, and well equipped. We spent all of our evenings on the deck enjoying the fresh air and gorgeous view (there was even a heat lamp to keep us warm). The home was a short drive from many hiking and biking opportunities.

We loved the house and the surroundings. House is historic, very clean and has all you need for modern life with kids. We felt really safe there. Per Wilhelm was super quick to answer and communicated with me before our trip. Ingunn showed us the place and was very nice and helpful. We recommend this house and will definitely come back :)

Aurland Fjordhutter is simply magical! Tord met us on arrival, showed us around… we were blown away by the view… it’s as if you have the fjord all to yourself! We weren’t brave enough to dip into the fjord but there’s your own private ladder off the deck into the fjord… As far as the accom itself, it was comfortable, clean, practical and well equipped. The upstairs private and sheltered veranda was the perfect location to watch the sun go down.. We were so glad to have stayed in Aurland vs Flåm (we had a car). To escape the hive of tourists (yes noted - we are too!) to this slice of paradise… so added to our time here! Highly recommend

Beautiful stay in a typical Norwegian house, built by the host, with a beautiful view of the fjord. The host was very helpful and friendly, he allowed us to stay in the largest house at the same price perino. Very cozy house and in the morning the host gave us homemade bread. WOW WOW WOW. I can't even believe we got to stay here. What a privilege! It looks even better than the pictures. The view is unbeatable. Marit was kind and warm, available but not overbearing. I mentioned we were doing the sauna in Aurland (recommend!! Aurland, not Flåm!) and she left towels out for us. messaged to ask how the trip was going and if we needed a shoe dryer. This Airbnb is everything an Airbnb should be and more, Marit is everything an Airbnb host should be and more! Thank you, Marit, for a fantastic stay. Tusen takk!!!

Peder’s guesthouse is cozy and peaceful. The views of the fjord are amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and there were detailed instructions for how to use everything. It makes amazing use of such a small space! We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to stay along our road trip.

The accommodation is quietly located in a fascinating environment. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely week.

When we left Marit's home, we all felt a little emotional. The trip had been such a great time of rest and adventure, and the place felt like home. We ate breakfast and dinner at the home, which saved a lot of money, and we were also able to do laundry, which was incredibly helpful since we had packed very small bags. It would be impossible to describe how beautiful the home and surrounding countryside is - I live in a farming town in the mountains and it's hard to impress me with natural beauty, but Vik took our breath away. We listened to the bells of the sheep every morning and evening and hiked in the mountains above the rental. We watched local people play soccer and children go to school and boats come and go. We drove to Flam (beautiful, but Vik is 1000% more lovely), took a ferry to Balestrand (worth it), and fell in love with the drive over the tundra above Vik. Marit was a perfect, warm, kind, lovely host and we can't recommend the rental enough. We miss it already.

We had a great stay at Kestutis’s place. The instructions were super clear and the place looked exactly like the photos. You have great views and are a close drive to some main attractions. We had an awesome time! Will hope to be back someday!

Viktorija welcomed us personally to the property. She was very friendly and provided us with some helpful information about Aurland. The accommodation was perfect and had an amazing view of the fjord. We were even provided some umbrellas when it started to rain and we had planned a walk. Amazing place, perfect base

We absolutely loved our stay at Anna’s place. The Airbnb was spotless and the kitchen had every utensil you could need. The beds were so comfortable too! The views right outside the Airbnb were breathtaking. The Airbnb is a short distance to downtown Flåm - perfect location for anyone trying to explore this area. Finally, Anna’s hospitality was top notch - we felt right at home the moment we arrived! Thank you Anna for being such a spectacular host! I give this Airbnb and Anna my highest recommendation.

This was one of the nicest Airbnbs in my years of traveling to Norway. Would definitely come again. The amenities are in great condition. Apartment is clean and comfortable. A cozy place to spend time in a beautiful location.

We loved Trude's place. The view is stunning we took pictures every morning of our stay because it was irresistible. Grocery right next door and 15mins drive to Flam. Trude always responsive to our questions. Highly recommend booking Trude's place.

We stayed for one night at Natalie’s place as 3 adults during our roadtrip in Norway. We felt like home at Natalie’s apartment and we fell in love with the neighborhood and its stunning views. Natalie is a great host and she was very communicative and friendly throughout the rental duration. Strongly recommended!
