The space
Get into the relaxed Caribbean spirit at the playfully named Love Pumpkin. This oceanfront vacation rental is tucked away on Parrot Cay—one of the region’s most exclusive private islands—and only steps from a secluded white-sand beach with warm turquoise waters. More than 7,000 square feet of living space and three bedrooms can accommodate up to six on a dreamy Turks and Caicos getaway.

Your holiday at Love Pumpkin gives you access to the luxury amenities at the COMO Parrot Cay Resort, from a villa manager and butler, daily breakfast and afternoon tea, and room service to the use of the shared tennis court, fitness center and water sports equipment. Of course, the villa also has its own heated pool, beachfront gazebo and a spacious deck with al-fresco living and dining areas.

This charming villa is hidden away behind lush gardens and coconut palms, but the views open up at the front of the house to offer panoramas of the ocean. The open-plan great room is edged in sliding doors that frame the vista and a high ceiling that adds to the feeling of spaciousness. Handcrafted terrazzo floors, breezy linen drapes, antique accent pieces and furnishings imported from Bali create a sophisticated yet breezy look in the living and dining areas. Though guests are welcome at the resort’s restaurants and bars, the villa also has a fully equipped kitchen.

The three bedrooms at Love Pumpkin are the perfect size for a small family, a group of couples or friends, or even a lavish honeymoon. Each one has a king bed, en-suite bathroom and ocean views; the master suite also features its own steam room and a balcony.

Simply stay at the villa, alternating between beach and pool, for a total escape, or take advantage of the resort’s many activities. Explore the island on a bike or the hiking and jogging trails, find your flow in one of the daily yoga or Pilates sessions, book a holistic treatment at the COMO Shambhala wellness center or arrange for a snorkeling excursion in the warm, clear waters around the island.
